Quantcast

9. Tonhon Chonlatee - Tonhon was in denial of his feelings, so Na, the source of his jealousy, tells him he can prove his feelings for Chon by kissing him, which he does.

10. 609 Bedtime Story - secondary couple: one of their ex-boyfriends was bothering him, he wanted to be left alone, so he said he was dating another guy (friend at the time) and kissed him to prove it.

10 dramas/movies involving alternate dimensions of some kind. Not alternate timelines, but parallel realities. Drama must take place in both (or several dimensions) on screen, not just mentioned.

Also. not "created" realities like from a book or comic where a character gets pulled in or out of a fictional universe.

1. 609 Bedtime Story

5.The King: Eternal Monarch

6. The Heavenly Idol

7. Extraordinary You - it's comics world but it's not like characters get pulled there from reality, it's about comics characters who realized they are characters. So alternative dimensions are "stage" (comics frames) and "shadow" (behind the scenes where characters live on their own)

8. A Korean Odyssey

Does 8 count? I recall the painting, the movie film, and the dream world. Does a dream world count? Or is there another one youre thinking about and i forgot?

9. Midnight Museum - both MLs exist in several alternate dimensions and it's revealed in the final episode that every alternate version is the same person, they've simply been travelling to different dimensions when they got too close to the goal. I know it sounds confusing, but there is an alternate universe aspect here.

I thought about painting, movie and Heaven. While painting can be a fictional reality (I don't remember exactly if it was based on real events or notr) , movie was a documentary, so it was real, and Heaven also wasn't fictional reality

Fair point about the documentary. But if we include heaven as a realm, wouldn't that elect 90% of Xianxias though?

I don't know this genre, sorry. It's on OP if it counts or not

I think, Heavenly Idol' alternative dimension is also Heaven, so I added AKO

The title is Heavenly Idol because he is a high priest in their world. It's not the heaven like AKO.

Hope I'm not mistaken for understanding the topic

Sweet Dreams - Where the FL get into the ML dream

I was thinking like alternate realities that exist on their own and run parallel to each other. As time goes in one, the other one also goes, maybe not at the same speed or maybe even backwards, but it isn't dependent on the characters being there. Also, it wouldn't be "normal" to travel between them, and most people don't know of their existence.

Not as a dream or a creation of someone's mind. A comic book in any form was created by someone, in theory. So I wouldn't count 7 as another reality/universe.

I wasn't considering the "Heavenly Realm" of Xianxias as alternate realities, so I would like to avoid if possible for the rest, but I think the "Heaven" in Heavenly Idol is different, not really a heaven in the same sense, regardless, so I think it counts.

For the sake of not splitting hairs about Heaven, 8 is acceptable since it was unclear, but 7, no.

So, we need 2 more.
