• 'tremptress' and she's wearing a full suit of armour xD Enemy general ain't fooling anybody with his taste in women 
• Lu Shi took notes from Obi-wan's book of taking the high ground, ok ok, respect. Maybe he time traveled too xD 
• Dang, that's a pretty well-done battle scene tho o-o Like they totally didn't have to but they DID!!! I'm grateful. I also appreciate that they colour-coded the soldiers so I'm not eternally confused as to who is who 
• Our glorious empress is literally slaying!
• and Shenbo took notes from the Female Lead Book of Prettily Running to Save His Beloved and Dramatically Walking Into the Battlefield. What an icon 
• • Augh something about the post battle scene is really doing it for me o-o Something about Shenbo heartbroken on the battlefield holding Lu Yuan's mask and then her GENTLY PLACING HER BLOODIED HAND ON HIS??? AND SOFTLY TELLING HIM THAT THEY WON??? I am finna explode 🤯 All I can say is that I was expecting way more tears (maybe Bloody Heart has me spoiled with the sheer amount of sobbing men but like cmon). What I wouldn't give for more stuff like this. I NEED a serious, nocomedy general FL x BBG ML sooo bad 🙏
  • Also not his dramatic butt immediately assuming she died when he found the mask lolol
• BRUH that enemy general's death was weirdly graphic, I was NOT expecting that, whaaattt (also some of the soldier's injuries, like o-o)
• OUR HIMBO LEARNED HOW TO RIDE A HORSE!!! YAAAYYY!!
• I love how not subtle Lu Yuan was with her "For those who love you, any injury is serious" comment and how flustered it made Shenbo. Bro had to talk a walk and she's just chilling in the background
• Stop, their outfits match 🥺 Also FL's outfit in the second half of the ep looks VERY similar to ML's outfit in the first half
• Bro really traveled to the past, fell in love with a badass warrior lady within like a handful of days and decides that this is his life now. He is making decisions only with his heart and I love him for it. Bro is ready to leave behind an easy contemporary life and promising career to become a historical househusband to a badass girlboss and I respect it fully.
• Imagine someone narrating your future in 3rd person and throwing shade xD He's so unserious
• Lu Yuan: "I've been waiting for the person in my heart" Shenbo: *sad is a himbo and doesn't understand she's talking about him noises*
  • My fav tropeee, he's jealous of himself xDD Not her teasing him about it too, she's too real for that 
• "Let's go home" I AM SO SOFT, Y'ALL 
• I love that ML is the least fit out of our main group (like both FL and her maid live in the palace and those big af mansions so it makes sense that they can easily get around without getting tired and ofc, General Pookie is a soldier). Truly living up to the contemporary nerd cliche. All he knows how to do is be snatched, lovestruck, and mess up the timeline. Why hello there Barry Allen
• That youthful boyish charm that General Pookie has is too darn cute. General but still adorable? He's so playful, I love hiiiimm
• Oh shoooottt, so General Pookie has no idea who the prime minister really is?? :O 
• The more they explain the family dynamics the more confused I AM!!!! T_T
• I just love how composed and cool Lu Yuan is... While everyone else is losing their marbles she remains calm

I am once again watching the drama for the plot. The plot being the girlboss and her malewife and basically nothing else. I'm so lost in this drama T_T Might need to rewatch it sometime to get a better grasp from the plot Maybe back to front this time so I get the reverse time line, hehe

Once again got distracted making GIFs instead of watching the second ep 💀

Wow, really? :) It depends on the drama. I don't know TLLoQL, but I believe you. Sometimes, we can have a bad experience with an actor but in another drama, that actor can be great. Let's hope iit turns out that way.

That definitely sounds interesting xD It does look more GL than RR to me though. To think we could've gotten Tan Jian Ci in a veil... tsk tsk

When I watched the drama I disregarded the woman. I really only saw Xiang Liu. As for Xiao Yao, She spent a large ammount of  the drama scenes cross-dressed in male attire because from the very beginning she was hiding among the commoners. Therefore, when I watched the boat scene, although you are right it seems GL, I was only seeing the Main Couple's romance. 

Honestly I would have liked to see Tan Jian Ci with a (normal) disguise. But Xiao Yao would have recognised him.

That's fair, makes more sense in context, I'm sure xD 

I considered more the character than the disguise. For example this one  in which FL was a Male womanizer who transmigrated in a woman's body and I considered him more like a man than a woman especially because, she had a Male inner voice. This is why, I questionned the logic of the plot a lot when I saw FL ( the womanizer) get closer and closer to ML. 

It could have been a role reversal drama, but I don't think it is, because the FL is in reality a ML and thus the plot is very common. I would even say it is a hidden BL drama.

• The drama starting with this song is very jarring. Really distracts from their conversation *sigh*
  
• WOW, unmarried leads sleeping in the same bed?!?! :O WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?? I guess FL already abuses ML's back enough and especially with all the injuries he sustained specifically there, it'd be a bit cruel to have him sleep on the floor. I really like this cuz I find it so irritating that the MLs are always made to sleep on the floor regardless of relationship status. 
• Ohhhhh, so he isn't her bodyguard yet... 
• I respect FL's ability to turn every conversation sexual xD 
• ML: I HATE FL >:(
  Also ML: I will pin her to the bed at the SLIGHTEST shift in my emotions but not because I like her, no, because I HATE her!! yes, this is hateful staring into her eyes and HATE tension!! GRRR
  Ok kitty, very believable 
• Good grief that scene was AWKWARD T_T Her o-o stare, the weird angles, the almost kiss, and then the sudden "nighty night" T_T HGGGNNNNN, the director can really do both, huh
• Ok well thankfully the maybe incest plot was resolved. We really didn't need it at all but at least it didn't drag and at least FL knew that he wasn't her brother before the event in the car 
• Dang their sleeping fits are NOICE!!!
• Five days and her leg is STILL bleeding? o-o Fu Cheng... What the hell did they teach you in soldier school? That wound IS NOT HEALING, BRO
• Naaahhh, not the sad puppy look when he sees the fiance xD 
• Ok but like why does ML look so good in this scene? Is it the outfit? hair? the fact that he doesn't look pissed off? idk but whatever it is, it really suits him.
• Wonder what happened to ML's sister. We didn't really her from or about her anymore and bro went missing for like 5 days. Did the uncle look after her? Wasn't he worried about ML at all? Hmm
• Another absolute STUNNING outfit on FL, wow
• What the hell is this narrating, PLS STOP
• Dang ML's side eye is CRAZY xD
• This uncle is stirring the pot and a MC's uncle which means he's very likely to be suspicious and have ulterior motives.... HMMMMMMMM

I can’t believe this antagonistic fiancé is marking territory over her saviour. Isn’t it the moment to say thank you to Fu Sheng? Unbelievable.

The storyteller I still don’t know who he is. It is not uncle Fu.

That singer could sing. It is kind of ridiculous.

Bathroom scene with FL, Ml and Ms Xu (ML’s ex-employer): FL is also marking territory in a subtle way. She made her flee. Ah ah ah.
And the following scene is very suggestive *blush*

FL is so confident and somehow thoughtful.She chose to explain herself to the mistress. She is quite nice.

Ke Rui: «Ms Zhou, since you chose to be the mistress, learn not to overstep your boundaries. » Hahahaha. Well said. But I pity her a little. She is totally subdued to the cheating fiancé.


So if I understand: The fiancé dumped the mistress because she was dissing FL and doing so pointing toward his failed attempts to dominate FL. He couldn’t stand it.
The Mistress (miss Zhou) said : « How often do you see your fiancée in a year? …. Is she ugly? Is that why she never shows her face? Is she cheating on you? »

Photo Lab scene : « What do you think I do looking at those picture
[of you]? » really? My imagination goes wild. This script is way too suggestive…

SHE IS VERY INTELLIGENT AND STRONG WILLED WOW. She preserved that status-quo in her relationship with the fiancé like a business partner would do without any explanation needed.
And I love the Piggy Back Walking, so sweet <3
