I’ve only watched When Life Gives You Tangerines so far , such a calm, heartfelt drama! 🍊

I noticed not many people have mentioned Beloved yet, but it sounds interesting, so I might give it a try soon. Maybe it’s one of those hidden gems? 👀

I think it's because romance is not the main plot, and the actors are not traffic/idol actors. I hope you'll like it.

Ah, that explains why it’s flying under the radar!

I actually don’t mind less romance if the story and acting are strong.

Sometimes those are the dramas that stick with you the most. Can’t wait to give Beloved a try! 🌸

For me is twelve letters ❤️

It’s short but gives you a meaningful experience. It has everything — strong storytelling, great cinematography, A+ acting, and full emotional depth. It’s a drama that will stay in your heart for a long time.

This sounds amazing

Douban gave it a 7.8! Just make sure you’re in a good mood before watching — because it’s not the type of drama that’ll lift your spirits, but it’s definitely a meaningful one.

Kill My Sins

Blood River

Both have intelligent storytelling with plot revealed slowly and each episode a masterpiece in itself.

I began with Blood River ,the storytelling was intriguing, but I had to put it on hold because the pacing requires full attention. I plan to pick it back up when I have the time to really appreciate it

Beloved kept me second-guessing everyone from start to finish. The plot is full of twists I genuinely didn’t see coming, and the characters are layered in a way that makes them impossible to read at first glance. It hooked me from episode one and never lost momentum. Honestly, it’s a seriously underrated gem that deserves way more attention.

Thank you for the recommendation.

Glad that you liked it. I think so, it's really underrated imo.

With similar but different plot, you may like these Japanese dramas mixing misteries with both familial love and romance:

But it's only if you're looking for similar plot and if you like Japanese drama.

Thanks for the rec! I’ll definitely check it out.

I don’t get why Beloved isn’t highly rated. Compared to other crime shows where everything is predictable, the suspense is weak, characters are flat, and plot holes are everywhere, this one actually keeps you guessing, has real depth, and a tight, well-crafted story.
