Hi everyone! I am looking for an Asian romance movie or short drama special (most likely South Korean, but could be Japanese or Taiwanese). Please note from the start that this is NOT Architecture 101 and NOT A Moment to Remember.
The story is about two adults who meet while on vacation in nature and live together in a tent for a while. During this time, the guy draws a face on a tropical coconut and gives it to the girl as a keepsake. Years later, the girl inherits a large, old but modern-style house and hires an architect to renovate it, who turns out to be that same man. As he meticulously repairs the house with his own hands—fixing leaking taps, mending furniture, he accidentally finds the old coconut rolled under her bed. Realizing he discovered it, the girl throws the coconut into the trash out of pride, not wanting him to know she kept it and still has feelings. However, he finds the coconut in the dumpster outside and realizes she cherished it all these years because she still loves him. In the end, instead of a direct confession, he builds a unique round glass pavilion/extension in her yard as a parting gift and heads to the airport. When she sees this beautiful glass structure, she finally understands his feelings and rushes to the airport after him.
It might be an indie film, a festival project, or a 1-episode TV Special (like KBS Drama Special). Does anyone recognize this movie? Thank you!
