How do you choose your top favorite dramas/movies?

I've been curious about this, i know that everyone's taste isn't the same but sometimes u find a drama in everyone's fav list while u find another in some fav list and in others drop list; that got me confused somehow. Moreover, i find it hard to choose my top fav movies since i have many that i liked and it took me a while to choose my fav top dramas and now i'm seriously thinking of changing it. How about you?

Coffee Prince and The Man from Nowhere. For me it's all about characters. If the character is good and the actor/actress can display that characters emotions then I will usually rate it higher than others.
