What happened to Korean School Dramas?

I’m an avid fan of Korean School Dramas, and I even mantain a list of the best school dramas I’ve watched during the years ( https://kisskh.at/list/PLpWWAJ1 ). But lately there are no korean school dramas produced anymore. It seems like the school genre is dying, but I don’t understand why.  Does anyone know if there is a reason for the kdrama industry to stop making them? Do they get low audience ratings or something? I really love them. They make me feel that sense of innocence, eternal youth and marvel, that only the school years, where everything happens for the first time, can give you.

I don't know, but i guess school-life style is becoming very obsolete these days, but since they kept producing k-drama that focuses on school too much, they decieded to focus on adult lifestlye of K-Drama characters. But far as i can remember, i don't know about it.
