Skipper_15:
I don't watch dramas that have no substance even if the leads are fabulous and my favorite.

I'm currently watching more of these kind of dramas. To be immune to bad acting ahahaha and to watch pretty people for visual feast.

Can't help falling in love

She's dating the gangster

For liza and Enrique it's:

Everyday I love you

I love Ang mutya ng section E myself, haven't finished it yet though. There's also:

 Mga batang riles,

Will watch them all.

 Skipper_15:
Pulang araw

Will also watch this.

Thank you for your recommendations.

@autumn iris   you're welcome. Glad you could add new things to your watchlist.

I read this article:

Espionage drama is good, there's little to no romance in these kind of dramas.

I have a short list of historical dramas I was going to watch next, but then I realized a show I was anticipating dropped today. I'm starting ep. 4 of The Prisoner of Beauty shortly, after binge-watching the first three episodes this morning. I love it, so far.

The Prisoner of Beauty

I was wondering about this one...I'll be interested in hearing what you think after watching it for awhile.

I am just starting this drama today. Been looking forward to it for a while. Hope they release the episodes and subs quickly!

It doesn't have the comedy tag at all, so I am a bit scared its going to be a heavy one. Also ML's last drama I watched Journey to You while excellent left me with serious heartbreak so..... I'm a little chicken right now!

I heard it's  HEA. There are a few light moments but not a comedy. I like the FL who I think can really act, so I was looking forward to her return. 4 episodes and subs available on WeTV today. I could have watched ep 5 if I wanted to pay for Express, but 4 was enough for me. It's says "Coming Soon" on Viki.

I have a question for anyone that wants to respond:

Would it bother you to watch a drama knowing the ML already has two kids by a concubine before the story even begins with the FL?  Does it make any difference or does it depend on the circumstances?

I'm asking cuz I just learned this is the case for a historical drama I was about to start but now I'm not so interested. And I'm curious about why I feel that way and if others might feel smth similar too.

Is that perhaps The Story of Minglan?

For me, as long as FL is not some mellow and pessimistic woman, I don't mind what ML want to do with his harem. It'll be better if she's his highest priority though.

It doesn't bother me if the show is good overall and the FL is a strong character and there are other aspects to the plot and not just harem politics all the time. The sword and the Brocade has this too, but its is a really good drama. ML has 2 or 3 concubines with children before FL, is a widower and then also has a concubine after (forced marriage). The Trust was the same, no children though, awesome show, the ML is a king so he has multiple concubines but I loved the show.

I think there is a life lived for our characters and given we are talking about historicals, when marriage/ concubinage happened at a very early age, often at the behest of the family, I can't really hold it against them ..... unless the ML plays the women off of each other or continues with concubines even after the couple actually gets together.

Did not bother me when I watched it. Made it more interesting. Though what did bother me was he was the ML when she had a crush on that other guy already (who I liked better)! Haha in the end the ML won me over though ^_^

I just started  A Love Never Last....Republican Era Drama

This is a realistic drama with an interesting story. Anther good role for Li Xian. His character is related to the Imperial family. I find it unusual for a republican drama.
