A few Friday morning thoughts:
(1) I'm in a bit of a rut and need a big dose of feel-good comfort with extra cuteness and fluff, so I'm re-watching "Your Sky of Us". (I've already re-watched "Your Sky", so this is a logical next step.) I just can't get enough of Thomas & Kong (and all the other Domundi cuties).
(2) Speaking of which, it's striking how well Domundi did at the Kazz Awards 2025 on Wednesday, especially the well-deserved awards for Thomas, Kong, Zee and Nunew. Yeah, GMMTV got awards for "P10L", JASPER, Sky and Nani, but GMMTV is the Goliath - so for upstart Domundi to score so well in comparison is a testimony to how far Domundi has come in the three years since their "Cutie Pie" breakthrough.
(3) After a bit of a JBL drought, I'm excited to see the four new ones coming in June and early July: the sequel to “I Became The Lead in a BL Drama" (which I loved), “Depth of Field”, “Stay By Your Side After The Rain”, and “10 Things I Want To Do Before I Turn 40”. Fingers crossed that these get timely international releases (sadly not always the case with JBLs).
(4) Looking forward to today's new episodes of "Knock Out" (this series is a knock-out!) and "Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist" (less excited but still entertaining). I'm also keen on "My Sweetheart Jom", but I think I'll wait another week or two before starting.
