Haha! There's a Trader Joe's down the street from me but I've only been there a few times. My fav market is Natural Grocers. I think it used to be Vitamin Cottage. And then there's Whole Foods, but I think they're too pricey. All 3 stores I can walk to within 15 mins. And I can't forget Sprouts! They have the best muffins, but def not the healthy kind.
Sounds like fun with ur friend. I have a friend I can talk to about food (and art) but she lives far away.

Speaking of stores- When I lived in Ohio for a while when I was a kid there is this giant grocery store called Jungle Jims and it is like the size of about 4 walmarts but they had every food you could think of there I have thought about going back to check it out someday lol 🤣💖😎

the trip wasn’t the greatest because I was seasick a lot and we missed part of the cruise due to flight cancellations. But the places we did get to explore were really interesting and beautiful.
I am glad you got to experience the Caribbean. Next time you should take a flight instead and spend at least 2 weeks and just chill.
