• I came Across Bl Dramas randomly one day and i just got hooked from then on
• Probably Not Me it was such an amazing drama and I loved how it brought up a lot of political issues in the world and also kept the cute fluffy romance factor 
• I have read Manhwa that is 18+ but if anyone has any novel recommendations please be sure to tell me 

I heard Novel Recommendation so here I am  LOL

1. Tian Guan Ci Fu ( Heavenly official's blessing) - story of a demoted God and demon king. My top 1 because I cried like Ocean while reading the book so as a spoiler you should be well prepared for volume 2 & 4 
2. Mou Mou ( certain Someone) - story is of school life between step brothers who has to face lot of struggles. My top 2. 
3. Feng Mang - Entertainment industry based novel very funny and most enjoyable novel.
4. Mo Dao Zu Shi (founder of Diabolosm) - The Untamed is adopted from this Novel and extras are to die for because it is 18+++.
5. Advance Bravely (Shi Bu Ke Dang) - We have censored drama based on this novel. The story of a Entrepreneur who runs Bodyguard developing company and Public Officer(police officer).

There is lot more Just let me the genre you like such as School life, esports, gaming , entertainment industry, Martial arts ( XianXia and  Wuxia) or Emperor. I only read Chinese BL novels at most and few Korean and Japanese (Harem novels will be good in Japanese) . 

It was really nice knowing how all of you came across BL World . After reading I really felt answers very really interesting.

• well i first discovered the bl genre when i read webtoons and a few years later i started getting into kpop/dramas. idk i think i just saw a kbl which was either to my star or where your eyes linger (maybe even you make me dance) on viki when i was bored and got hooked
• not a drama but your name engraved herein and both the leads + plus to my star. also my beautiful man and the cornered mouse dreams of cheese made an impact on me
• does the untamed count ? im not even past chapter ten though so

I like Kim and Copter but it seems like they are always in the same kind of roles.  Seems like it's always Kim's charcter pursuing and reassuring Copter's charcter.  A reverse of this would be nice. 

I also don't feel like they give off a romantic chemistry; I'm getting more friend vibes from them. I did root for them in 2 moons but  In Gen Y I was actually hoping for Kim and Bas to get together and In that's my candy I was rooting for Earth and Copter. 

I don't have a strong opinion about them yet since I'm new to Thai BLs and have only seen them in Close Friend so far. I have a few more of their dramas on my PTW list since I liked their chemistry.

• I started out by watching a lot of western LGBT shows. Shows like: Skam France, queer as folk, and the fosters. As a member of the LGBT community myself these were the only shows that I could see myself in and related to. It wasn't until I started to discuss my love of these shows with a friend that I found out she has also watched and loved these shows. She recommended to me several non-western BL dramas that she had watched and thought I would enjoy. I would consider this the point that I was thrown into the BL genre. 
• The drama Sotus as it was the first BL drama I watched and the character Third from the theory of love. Out of all the drams I have watched I had related to the character of Third the  most making him hard to forget
• I've watched several 18+ dramas over the years. The only 18+ novel I have read is the grandmaster of demonic cultivation (the untamed)

I'd like to join. I've been into BL for (let me count...) something over 11 years, gosh I'm old. xD 

I got into BL by accident while I was looking for some new novels to read. What I found was a yaoi manga  (meaning a 18+ BL comic from Japan) not knowing what it was I bought it. Imagine the surprise when I held it in hands. lol Well, that was how I got into both BL and manga. Since then I have read all sort of manga, novels, fan fictions and watched anime, movies and dramas. 

Right now I'm really excited for Unforgotten Night. Looking forward to it. ^^

The Untamed remains my first love simply because it brought me into such a beautiful world

The Untamed is such a beautiful story! Every time I rewatch this drama or reread the book I find another reason to love this world and all of its characters. I can't imagine another drama ever replacing this one as my #1 favorite.
