Just saw it on X. Tbh I think it’s a non-issue. They’re acting. There was nothing raunchy/innapropriate about that scene.
And since I’m on the topic, I have to confess that I haven’t started ThamePo because the twitter fandom is annoying af and turned me off so bad, even if the show looks so good and I love the cast—

As a fan of Joong that man has gotten so much hate from that fandom for not promoting this show— it’s ridiculous. And they keep dragging up Joong and Est’s friendship ending, and blaming it on Joong when what do they know, and why do they care?
Not to mention the way that LYKN’s fandoms has continiously and from the start villanised Est.
I feel bad for William and Est and LYKN because this fandom is just shooting itself in the foot—
My recomendatiom (to myself lol)— stay off twitter because people ruin everthing.
I try to watch My love mix up (JP) but for some reason ep 1 just threw me off too quickly , I didn't watch it;.. maybe I'm not used to Japanese or korean bl since like 90 percent is thai bl
Funny cuz that's what My Love Mix-up Thai version did for me. I really liked the J-version, and I'm not a huge fan of J-dramas in general. My fav is Korean BL and straight dramas, with Taiwan second. I only watch Thai BLs, not their straight dramas. Way too melodramatic and soapy for me. 😆

And does that even make sense to legally have sexual freedom at 15 but not be a legal adult until 20? Wow, whoever came up with that policy is sus or worse.

I have no idea what's going on cuz I am not a fan of fandoms in general, lol. And I'm not on Twitter or "X". Society's toxic segment of people are among us on all sm, fandoms and anywhere there are large social groups.
I tried "Threads" on insta and within a few days I quit cuz of the constant negative or toxic posts. Taking a break from Twitter is a good decision.
Recently I learned from an IT guy in the sm field that the algorithms are set for us to see relevant (to us) posts and news that are negative, cuz that's what evokes the strongest response and interaction from us, the emotion being anger. Platforms like Twitter, FB, IG, YT, and so on all have this built in so that we will engage. They don't care if it's inciting anger and creating unhealthy engagements.
I haven't seen THK EP 11 yet. I'm waiting til the final comes out. Now I'll be looking for those dirty socks haha.

TBH I'm pretty good at curating my social media, I block very easily and I never fight people online, I'm just on twitter to see news/pics of my faves-- but sometimes just being on there ruins experiences for you. I've been a kpop fan since 2009 so I would know lol
I just don't get why people dislike seeing other's happy. But that's more of an existential question lol
Twitter also spoiled the plot of BNW for me so that's another one!
Anyway, I'm probably taking a break from that hell site after THK ends next week <3

Exactly thats what I'm saying like chill the fuck down like let the men do their job and stay quiet if they are going through emotional distress they will speak out on it soon or later. Like just stfu and enjoy your time like I bet you enjoy watching things like that(im so sorry I get so frustrated sometimes) Also Im talking about watching bl part not the fact that a minor will do it with someone wayyyy older than them.
Oh yeah I think its just an instinct to not like something but than will like it later because that happened to me with Love mate I watched the first episode but I didn't want to watch it because I was interested but when Magnaloiee(Im so sorry I can't remember how it spelled) told me to watch I had some motivation to watch it

Listen I know I have Twitter(I will not call it X) but I never go on it like I had it since 2021 but I will never step foot on that app again unless I really need to.

Actually, almost every country has different legal ages for different purposes - e.g. in the U.S. 17 to join the military, 18 to vote, 18 for legal majority in most states ... but you have to be 21 to drink a beer. And the age of consent in the U.S. varies by state (16, 17 or 18) - but in some cases with marital exemptions. Confused yet?
Even legal age for sexual purposes can be tiered, e.g. here in Germany the legal age of consent is 14, 16 or 18 depending upon the situation (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_consent_in_Europe if you really want to know the details). There's a logic to it.

Yeah, color me confused!! I see that it makes sense for different age levels for different things. Prob same for driving a car. I could legally do that since 16 and if I wanted I could have dropped out of HS then too, but that's all. Everything else wasn't legal. (But happens anyways). I don't know much about ages for consents in a physical way.
I was thinking along the lines that in Thailand it benefits a lot of certain entertainment groups/businesses for 15 y.o. kids to have legal age of consent. Hopefully those kids aren't taken advantage of, but I'm not very optimistic about it.
But as you say, for BL's it's acting. It's not porno, I agree.
