Last night I left an innocent comment on a MDL drama page, asking for basic feedback about a drama, and this morning woke up to a few less than friendly replies. Luckily the very first comment was really kind.
I figured out how to respond, and not at all for one comment, as my mom always said ignoring someone is the best thing to do, but the worst thing for them. And my dad would always say "Kill them with kindness" lol. I think they're both right so I did both. **evil laugh** 🤭
It's hard for me NOT to participate in the drama comment pages, cuz it's so fun to share this common interest with others from all around the world. And yeah, I'm an internet butterfly. 🦋

Of course, I have also gotten incensed on certain subreddit pages and commented with facts (not unkindly) to correct an OP's rant/exaggerations. My husband said I shouldn't bother, but I can't seem to let lies stand. It's a pet peeve of mine. My obituary will say: "She spent her retirement correcting inaccuracies on reddit."

A large portion of my comments on MDL, specifically those not connected to my clubs, i end up deleting, due to the comment section being so negativity. I much rather prefer to spend my time in my clubs, where the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Don’t let those negative nellies spoil your day! We truly value your presence here 150%!

Haha, that's funny. I get it! It was my first time for unfriendly direct replies on an MDL drama page. I'm taken aback at times of how people can be that way, but then I can usually remind myself that words on a screen aren't the same as seeing a person's expressions or tone of voice, and maybe it's not nearly as unfriendly as they intend.
