I think that's correct - and likewise I believe that Fluke, Kao and others were independent (non-managed) actors who were brought in for "UWMA".
There's a lot to be said for bringing in the right actors for each role rather than fitting roles to a roster of managed actors, i.e. free agents rather than studio system (not that I don't love GMMTV). In principle, it would be better for the art, and the best actors would actually get paid what they're worth. (Although I get the impression that GMMTV treats their people well, the stars probably get paid shockingly little, not counting considerable side income from events and product promotions.)
On the other hand, this opens the door to nasty situations like the famous conflict between Perth's and Saint's agencies at the time of "Love By Chance", which precluded Saint from continuing in "LBC2" (and generally did a lot of damage at the time).

Maybe that's partly why Saint also produces dramas now and does a pretty good job.

I wish GMMTV did it with their BLs! They brought in Tor for Midnight Museum (that should have been a BL!) and that was great. They also brought in Davika for Astrophile and Baifern for Beauty Newbie. But nope, not the BLs ;; (maybe Ossan’s Love counts w/ the boss?)
My dream is that they let Win or Nanon shoot a BL with an outside actor (if they ever want to).

This series just gets better and better. I don't think I say that about a series very often. I was smiling, laughing, and happy for the whole hour.
I never got around to watching ep 15 the weekend prior or ep 16 yesterday, so I watched both back to back tonight. OMG, both episodes were fantastic!!! The series does just get better and better. I absolutely LOVE Santa & Perth so much, they are amazing together! So many incredible scenes between both episodes, but especially in 16. I was an absolute mess of emotions lol.
