@Italophilia: "Fight for Love" is from Vietnam, so it's not listed on MDL. It's on Youtube (RL Studio channel). I tend to like the RL Studio stuff because their BLs are usually cute 'n sweet, with Viet-cuties (is that a word?).

Thanks!

Drama :Doku Koi: Doku mo Sugireba Koi to Naru

I'm watching this, just completed ep 4. It's a bit strange, but interesting.

Do you guys have any BL show that you just love so much (like literally)
for me it is "the on1y one " i would sell my soul to watch that show again for the first time
okay i am being dramatic but ughhh T-T

The ones that have haunted me after I finished watching them are The Untamed and Stay with Me. I searched for BTS, OST, anything I could find just to not have it truly end.

Doku Koi: Doku mo Sugireba Koi to Naru

Shiba has quickly climbed to the top of my favorite male leads in BL!

I liked "Doku Koi" very much, not least because of the interesting lead characters. I'm not particularly into legal dramas. I am, however, very much into Haruto-kun. @Hyodo Katsumi, welcome to my harem!

Haruto-kun

I want to give him all the hugs in the world !

. It's a bit strange

The initial part of this drama followed the usual humor and OTP dynamics typical of many J-dramas, but it was the second half that genuinely drew me in. The plot shifted to a more serious tone, focusing on the relationship and character growth of the two main characters. I was pleased that I continued watching, as I ended up finding it quite enjoyable.

 Simi_Tutu:
character growth

Yes - but also character revelation, i.e. Haruto's true character is only gradually revealed to the viewer. Nevertheless, I loved him from the start and would have gladly given him all my money.

P.S. To be clear, I'm joking about the last part. Prying money from me is extraordinarily difficult, even for cuties.

When it comes to finances, this storyline really made me ponder the source of his income. While I understand he’s a con artist, the narrative didn’t delve deeply into his methods, which left me feeling a bit let down. However, we did get glimpses of his compassionate nature and his intentions for the money he acquired. He’s a fascinating and enigmatic character. I genuinely hope for a second season, though I’m uncertain if it will happen. Since this series is based on a novel, I can’t help but wonder if there’s more to explore. The thought that if he had your money, he would likely use it for the children is both heartwarming and bittersweet. He’s a strong figure when it comes to confrontation and gathering intel, yet his self-esteem seems so fragile. He truly deserves validation, and I just wish I could shower him with the affection he’s missed out on.

Is stay with me a finsihed show?

I heard somewhere that they stopped filming the show in between

There was supposed to be a S2, which never happened and never will, so there's an infuriating cliffhanger ending that'll never be resolved - but it's otherwise a masterpiece. Definitely recommended!

but it's otherwise a masterpiece

I wholeheartedly share this feeling; the writing in the series was outstanding, and the performances were just as remarkable. I have a great admiration for the young actress Phoebe. Her talent is truly impressive, far beyond her years. The emotional depth she portrayed left me speechless. This series moved me to tears several times, and the finale hit me hard. The pain was so real, and learning there wouldn't be a second season left me feeling lost. I just couldn't come to terms with such a sudden ending. I longed for more for the characters, and it seems I'm not the only one, as many fans have voiced similar sentiments online. It's a beloved series, and the shared disappointment over not getting the closure we hoped for is deeply felt.  Despite that, this series is still worth watching. It remains a top favorite on my list for BL.

A Tale of Thousand Stars
Whenever I crave a series that sends my heart racing, this is my go-to. It's a slow burn, but the chemistry between Phupha and Tian is electric. This show speaks to my heart in ways I never expected. It brought me to tears and filled me with joy. Each side character brought something special to the table, and the way the story concluded left me completely satisfied. I was thrilled to see a resolution for our beloved couple; they are my ultimate favorite in the BL world. This drama has me in a chokehold, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Bokura no Shokutaku
I never anticipated falling head over heels for this series, but here I am, completely enchanted! There’s an undeniable warmth and coziness that wraps around you like a favorite blanket. Watching two strangers bond over food and gradually discover their feelings for each other is such a beautiful journey. It’s a straightforward drama, yet the depth of the writing reveals profound messages if you take a moment to absorb them. And let’s not forget that precious child actor who steals my heart every time! His presence adds so much joy and warmth to the show. Even when the romance isn’t front and center, the genuine connections and heartfelt conversations truly make this series shine. Just look at them— one big, happy family.  It’s delightful!
Kiseki: Dear to Me
I find myself completely lost in this delightful obsession! I have to admit, I frequently bypass the beginning episodes just to dive straight into the moments with my absolute favorite, Ai Di—without a doubt, the best boy ever! Sure, he has a tough exterior, but underneath, he’s the most adorable pup you could dream of—truly a champion guard dog! All I crave is to envelop him in love and snuggles. His story is quite touching; seeing how everything comes together in the end feels like the ultimate reward. I could watch him forever and never tire of his irresistible charm!
