Guys.

Look.

He’s the cutest person I’ve ever seen 😭😭😭

(Btw I took this from my seat cause they don’t let you take your phone up on stage, but he’s cuter up close 🤣)

All three shorts with a pair of cuties!! Lucky you!

Junior and Mark were live at the same time Phuwin was and I was surprised Phuwin had 12.8k people in his live while Junior only had 3,832(i cant remember the exact number but it was around 3,000)

One more!

OMG, they're sooo cute together. Looks like you had a good seat.

Sashes and Hearts - episode 3

Meh

This was the highlight for me:

Yes! They are super cute together, it was so much fun 😍😍

Justice for Cambodian BLs they deserve mainstream attention and budgets!!!

The Boy Next World - Finale*

*I watched eps 1-6 then skipped to the final. I don't feel like I missed a thing, but let me know if there's anything significant, other than NC scenes, I mean.  🤣

The Good:  Visuals  ❤️

Noeul is a handsome cutie with black hair, Boss is a hunk as usual and their magic chemistry is still alive. Donut/Wim, another cutie, caught my eye in every scene.

The Bad:  All the Rest. All of it.  ☹️

An opposite world from LITA, and not in a good way.

A weak, beyond confusing plot with more holes than Swiss cheese. One word:  Lame. It's lame, Mame. Sorry, not sorry.

Cir's toxic family situation was left as if it was okay, without a decent resolution.

A  pathetic sobbing mess of a confession video that was uncomfortable to watch. Why did Mame do that to you, Boss? Major CRINGE.

So not a parallel world, just stalking for 4-5 years.

If a person's world evolves around someone they hardly know, I call that out for the giant red flag that it is.

Sorry to BossNoeul, but I can't rec this drama to anyone.

The Boy Next World: Uncut - finale

As a fan who has a policy of not dropping any series I have watched many disappointments over the years, but I never thought I would have the acute displeasure of witnessing one so early into the year.

Boss & Noeul chemistry was not enough to save this sinking ship; the Titanic should feel jealous. I am convinced whoever sat at the table to decide if this series should be allowed to air is collecting a free paycheck because there is no way!

I am yet to realise the point of the parallel universe element. The whole plot section surrounding the mother is ridiculous to me, and the ending just felt random and stupid with the brother and father.

I did not even care for the NC scene because at that point I was just irritated.

That confession and crying video made me uncomfortable.

MAME, no more for the near future, I beg! It is unfortunate that Boss and Noeul had to take part in this....................whatever it was.

This may just be me, but I would have 100% preferred that story-line they showed as a parallel world with them as a boss and employee. I would have loved that without everything else.

I am genuinely curious about one thing though; what is the reception of this series among Thai fans 👀

5/10

Anyway, this was bullshit in my opinion as well as in the opinion of any right thinking individual

Yassss

I love Daou and Offroad! So lucky you got to see them.

Okay, so I just finished the final ep of The Boy Next World, and I'm SUPER annoyed. First, before I get into my thoughts on being annoyed with this series and the ending, I HAVE to state how phenomenal everyone's acting was in this series. Definitely great performances by everyone, and I continue to love the chemistry between Boss & Noeul. I also really love the theme song for the series. and it plays in my head often throughout the day from time to time. Of course the production quality is great also. These were my positives about the series.

In this final episode, I was eagerly awaiting and expecting the story to finally all fall into place and explain everything, but that never happened. This storyline was weird and made no sense, and SO MUCH was left unexplained with holes left everywhere. God, what a disappointment. I'm left confused and full of questions about so many things in this story; I don't even know which to start with. Like, WTH were all those memories and flashbacks Cir had about himself with a different Phu in another world? That's never been explained, so wtf was that about? Then the scene with the other Cir in the all-white room that was supposed to represent two different parallel worlds side-by-side. Like, wth!? I was SO excited to see the parallel world premise of this story play out because I love these kinds of stories around time and different timelines and parallel worlds, etc. One of my top favorite BLs is Absolute Zero, which falls under this theme. I also liked Be My Favorite as well and thought that TBNW was going to be another one to add to my favorites in this genre. I was so excited that I was going to get a story with this theme with Boss & Noeul. But that never happened. I feel cheated on so many levels.

That said, the story was trash for me. The actors deserved better, and we deserved better. I feel like I got hardcore jebaited about the "parallel world" supernatural premise that we were led to believe was the basis of this story. It was such an afterthought, and when it was referenced, it never made any sense because it wasn't coherently connected to the story. They made us think visually and in the story early on that Cir really came from another parallel reality. We were strung along throughout the series thinking this was a real supernatural thing that was happening, and it never was. They never even bothered to explain why the hell coming from a parallel world was the lie. They just left us with "oh, it was a lie," and I'm like, OKAY, you lied about it, but WHY?? WHY did you lie about making up parallel worlds?? Where did that come from?? What was the explanation for making up parallel worlds as opposed to anything else you could have made up? I feel as pissed off as Phu did when he first found out Cir lied, but I won't forgive the producers of this series.

The other thing also, is why the hell is there some random mind-reading character that can hear people's thoughts?? WTH did that have to do with anything, especially knowing now that there was never any supernatural parallel worlds component. Why do we have a mind-reading dude in this??

The final episode also had my head whiplashing all over the place. Like that weird out-of-nowhere animalistic NC scene shoehorned in towards the end right after they were just having a sweet moment on the bench just after following a brutally toxic and inhumane scene with Cir's mother calling herself his owner when Cir's brother and dad showed up. Like, WTF! I felt like I was going insane and in someone's fever dream. Just whiplashing left and right. This final ep felt super crammed, and nothing flowed naturally together and left me with questions never to get answered. I'm usually very generous with my ratings and very forgiving of even really bad series and it's rare fro me to give a very low rating on a series. This is one of the lowest ratings(6.5) I have given a series for the story in a really long time.

Perfect 10 Liners - episode 20

That early scene with Yotha, Gun and Faifa had me dying lol

Yotha and Gun continue to make me feel extremely single *sigh*

I really enjoyed this episode and all the comedic instances had me laughing. This was a wonderful breath of fresh air for me tonight.

Faifa and Wine continue to grow on me. I get to like them more and more as their story progresses.

That closing scene with them in the car had me lol the convo before the almost kiss had me feeling things lol. then for Faifa to lean back in and capture the kiss AHHHHHHH

I am really looking forward to the next episode.

RE: TBNW

I don't usually rate a series I drop, but 7 out of 10 eps with one being the final I thought why not.

My rating was a 6/10, which is very low for me since I almost never rate below a 5.

My exact question as well.  🤷🏻‍♀️

I guess I'm not the only one that had a similar experience. Such a shame, this could have been such a masterpiece.

Yeah, given all the current interest in Junior & Mark thanks to "P10L", I'm a bit surprised it wasn't more - but then again, Phuwin & Pond are far more established, and they never disappoint. (I'm finally watching "Fish Upon the Sky" for the first time right now - and totally lovin' it. I'm on episode 7 right now. It starts as a mostly very silly comedy but then keeps getting better and better - and Pond & Phuwin are just magically good.)

P.S. I have roughly equal crushes on both Phuwin and Mark (Jiruntanin), so I can be truly neutral and unbiased on this one, which is indeed unusual for me.

Boy Toy (Cambodian BL)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It's nice to try different fare, not to mention showing support for Vietnam and Cambodia. (Their stuff tends to be a bit too lakorn-y for me, but sometimes it's surprisingly good in a low-budget way.)

Okay, so I just finished the final ep of The Boy Next World, and I'm SUPER annoyed.

I still have to watch the last two episodes, but I think your thoughts (and comments by others) pretty much sum it up - most of all the totally nonsensical mind-reading thing, which irritates me even more than the main story. Boss, Noeul, Fort & Peat should consider upgrading to a studio which can provide them scripts commensurate with their acting abilities.

Yes, I've been really looking forward to "Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist" (presumably starting March 21). Lightweight GMMTV fluff with a great cast - just the kind of stuff I love.

I'm less excited about "My Golden Blood" (starting Wednesday) in terms of genre, but I'll probably warm up to it once I start watching. That and "Revamp" have been brewing for a very long time, so I hope these two overdue series don't disappoint.
