Indie Art Girl:
Anyways, I just wanted to say that I am unexpectedly enjoying BMS, after getting past the first ep. It's not close to a masterpiece, but it is underrated imo.
(re "Be Mine Superstar") I quite liked it, too, despite its considerable flaws - more viscerally than rationally. I'm in love with First Chalongrat, so it's possible that I'm not entirely neutral. (He will supposedly have some kind of role in the upcoming BL "Reset". I hope this means he's not entirely out of BL - although I guess First & Ja is now past tense, sadly.)
Are you up to the part where they go to Japan? The Japan scenery is really nice. Also, things get very steamy in the onsen. *cough cough*
As to your question: It's a fluff series, and fluff always has a happy ending. No worries.

RXinw:
I eagerly await tomorrow's episode 6!
P.S this scene with the bunny ears took my mind south.
(re "Secret Relationships") Yes, I'm eagerly awaiting ep. 6, too. Such a fascinatingly messy and toxic story of green and red flags. (I want Daon for myself, but I'm scared of Su Hyeon!)
Given all the toxicity and pain, I appreciated how they temporarily dialed down the temperature in ep. 5 with some sweet, adorably cute and even funny moments. This series is really well done in so many ways.
As to your theory, maybe. We shall soon see how the story and backstory unfold.

I binged all of The End of the World With You
I'm so glad you liked it, too. It's more than two years since I watched it, so I will remind myself from the mini-review I wrote at the time:
This series is unique and extraordinarily good. I don't usually go for heavy apocalyptic drama; I'm more one for light love stories with a predictable happy ending. But this series is so well done - the story, structure, writing, production, and of course the two (or actually three? four?) excellent lead actors - that I can't give it anything but top marks. Not only the characters (flaws and all) are fascinating but also how the bonds between the four quickly develop under these strange circumstances. The bedroom scenes are unusually graphic for such series - and yet not just sensationalized, gratuitous sex but rather authentic and with a real dramatic purpose.
