Yeah, it was something along the lines that they had a PTW with all the serious they could just go in and binge if they wanted to, so mostly finished or airing series. Then they had a list of series that they made so that they could keep up with the things they wanted to watch when it aired.

This would be great if I had the energy and self-discipline, but I lack both, so my watch list is a mess - and I'm proud of it. Hrumph! That being said, it's actually really easy to split my PTW list between "released" and "not yet released, if ever" simply by sorting on the "Score" column, which provides the added benefit of listing the top-rated (and likely best) titles at the top.
Yeah the energy in self discipline it takes for this is unreal but I’m still gonna try to do it and keep up with it because I think it’s actually quite a smart idea

Maybe they have a lot of titles they wanna watch? But they do have a point, I couldn't sort the titles that aren't aired yet on my ptw just now. Because either there was a year present (so not 0000) or the episode count was already added (and not ?). Which means you can't effectively sort for these titles.

Exactly. I usually sort my PTW list not by either of these but rather by Score (average MDL rating), as "no rating" is generally synonymous with "not (yet) released". This provides the added benefit of putting the top-rated titles at the top.
