tbh im only watching boys in love because of Chokun,I loved his acting in My love mixed up so I'm excited to see him be a main character.

None yet but it's on one of the challenges I embarked on so I'll watch it this year. That and I want to see War Wanarat on screen again of course.

you will not regret watching it. yess I wanna see him on screen too. I've finished all of his dramas and i keep rewatching them. He's so good at acting.

I haven't watched it yet, but I definitely will, as I adore Yin and War. I see mixed reviews, but I suspect that some of the negative feedback was simply because expectations were so high. Like many Thai BLs, it seems to have a dauntingly large cast of characters (not to mention all the different War characters) - but fine, I can deal with that for the sake of my beloved Yin and War.

Rather than actors in Japan starring in one BL and done, I'd like for some of them to come back to BL roles but not really with their previous on screen partner (so not like the situation in Thailand). It would make for more BLs overall. I imagine there aren't that many actors willing to play BL (because it's still taboo in a way? Idk), so the actors who already did so, should be able to accept more BL roles if they so wish.

Japan is puzzling because it some ways it's very accepting (in terms of same-sex marriage, actually the most accepting country in the region - see below) and respectful of privacy but in other ways so conservative, especially the national government. Since its productions seem to be dominated by the big Japanese networks, maybe that plays into the conservative attitudes (?).

Maybe so. I don't know the full picture but that graph is telling. It's interesting. Also, it so happens that I have seen Machida Keita and Honda Kyoya in other series beside their respective BL ones. Every time it was because I wanted to 1. See Alice in Borderland because it seemed like fun and 2. Watch Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko because it looked like a nice GL. But it would be nice to see them in BL again specifically. I wonder if their companies forbid them from being cast/accepting to star in BL again. Maybe to some extent they are quite conservative still?

The GL club on here has a Discord server too. It's called GL Café afaik. You can find the invite link in the first page of the club.
