I just finished this and it exceeded my expectation. I've enjoyed other Wayufilm productions so I shouldn't be totally surprised. It's low budget, a very small cast and some parts didn't have any talking, just music, but it really made an impression. I smiled and I even shed a tear or two. Love the ending.
So I guess I'm recommending it, if you like short but sweet stories without any fan fair or fuss.

I just got to the part where they have a conversation about Daisy’s identity and I was very impressed. While trans characters are oftener featured in BLs their identity is rarely talked about and they are often used for comic relief. I find it frustrating in general but positive in this one.

Indeed. "Tin Tem Jai" likewise comes to mind for having a very likeable and appealing trans character (Pai, played by the well-known Yoshi Rinrada, winner of a Thai beauty contest for trans women) ... but unlike Daisy, she doesn't find love. I know that "Tin Tem Jai" wasn't very popular, and it was admittedly flawed, but I personally loved it - and also like "Secret Crush on You", one of its strengths is a really sweet group-of-friends dynamic.
Does anyone know how to search for dramas released by year? It's for the BL challenge but I don't know how to pull up a list of dramas for 2023.

I don't knowingly choose to watch a drama with cheating/adultery, so I was surprised at how much I liked this and that it's Japanese. (Also not smth I normally choose).
The Mls had all kinds of chemistry. Their intimate moments felt so real I was captivated and really wanted them to work out in the end. The way everything was handled was well done without a lot of melodrama, but realistic.
It's the 100th BL to be added to my Favorite BL Picks list! I can thank the BL Watch Challenge for this one. 👍
oh, I loved that one too, but for me it was more about the atmosphere of the drama.
