Rendezvous with Fluke

Nope, just USA (again). If I have time, I'll drop by Art Girl and knock on her window - although 1,700 miles is a bit of a detour from where I am right now.

I have “high touch” tickets so I’ll get to see them up close.

Would it be possible for me to book a private "high touch" ticket just with Dunk?

First time I’ve been called a sicko

Whoops, maybe a bad word choice on my part.

 Ju Moon:
I’ve only watched two shows from this list. I usually go easy on my reviews because I know everyone puts in their best effort. But The Perfect Match isn’t something I’d recommend, despite a few cute and fun moments. The acting feels pretty amateur, and they struggle to show emotions in the more dramatic scenes. On top of that, it relies way too much on clichés, almost to the point of feeling like a parody.

Flirt Milk isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s light, fun, and super relaxing to watch. I have to admit, I love nonsense shows.  🫣   I really enjoyed the interactions between the main couple. The acting is a bit hit-or-miss, but definitely better than The Perfect Match.

I mostly agree with you on both of these. While I don't regret watching "Perfect Match" (total runtime only about 70 minutes, so not a big time investment), it was very weak with an irritatingly contrived story.  On the other hand, while "Flirt Milk" was admittedly a trainwreck, I loved it as cute, fluffy, nonsense entertainment. (We've talked quite a bit in this group about BL trainwrecks, both good and bad.)

Of the three other titles mentioned in the video:
I've not seen the first one ("The Last Time").
I watched "Blessing of Love", which was a short (4 eps.), ultra-low-budget, amateurish trainwreck (not the good kind) loaded with incongruous product placements. The first two episodes were somewhat cute, but ep. 3 was truly awful. Not recommended.
Finally, I've only watched the first episode of "Last Meal Universe", which was nonsense on steroids. I haven't yet decided whether to push through the rest - but yeah, I probably will. Sometimes I find these kinds of trainwrecks strangely engaging.

Now watching today's episode three of "Next Prince", which keeps getting better and better. Following some past missteps, Mandee really got it right with "Your Sky" and now with "Next Prince" is clearly moving into the big league. Fingers crossed that their coming line-up of other BLs doesn't disappoint, but my confidence in Mandee is growing. Thanks to Domundi's great job with "DMD Friendship the Reality" and "It Takes Two", I've gotten seriously invested in their newer CPs. I just wish Mandee/Domundi would come up with a really good script for my dearly beloved Tutor & Yim.

I've also started on "Knock Out", which seems quite good so far. WeTV seems to be really stepping up their game in the BL space - i.e. not only as a relevant streaming platform but also as a production company. With Tencent as its parent, they certainly have massive financial resources, so I'm hopeful.

I just saw his IG photo from May 5, so cute. But I don't know how to post from IG to here. Sorry, technically ineptly yours, me.

I am also technically inept. Can someone tell me again how to answer part of someone‘s post and/or multiple people’s posts in one response? Na na ka-tort! (Please and thank you in Thai)

Sashes and Hearts - finale

It is watch experiences like this that have me really hating and reconsidering my no drop policy. It is quite unfortunate that I had the displeasure of watching this series. I know I should abide by the golden rule of not saying anything when you do not have anything nice to say. However, sometimes rants need to be done not with malicious motives, but out of frustration, albeit self inflicted.

From start to finish, who the main couple remains unclear. It is the finale and I still do not know what the situation is between Jack and Thomas.

I feel like there was a plot without a plot. There is the conflict that is easy to follow but all else just seems to fall off to the side like a melting cheese on pizza. I do not think this series was ready to leave the conceptual stage. Detestably they tried to overcompensate for the nonsensical situations on screen with hot visuals and sexually crude innuendos.

Thank heavens for the one saving grace that was the couple of Jin and Jarret.

I am not sure why Oxin Films has been reduced to these lacklustre, low grade, vapid, crude and sexually off putting produced series since recent. I am not amused. I am not sure if they are meant to be comedic and if they are well damn they suck at it. I will be putting off watching anymore series from them while they are airing.

Anyway, let me rate this series:

Production - 1/2

Writing - 0.5/2

Intimacy - 1/2

Acting - 1.5/2

Music - 1/1

Special 10 scene - 0/1

Total rating score = 5/10

The Bangkok Boy - episode 4

🤣🤣🤣

I should not be laughing but this is hilarious. Every episode Sun gets beaten to some extent lol he may need to rethink this gangster business SCREAMING LOL
I am really enjoying this series so far.

Sun's brother is something I cannot say in this space because of the innocent minds and language barrier.

Anyway, I look forward to the next episode.

R U wanting to post a photo from IG to this thread? You can take a screen shot on your phone and maybe need to edit a bit, and then find it in your downloads, at least on a Samsung that's how it works.

I thought this was about the time you said you would be in the states. I hope it's for enjoyment! 😆

Highlight the part you want to reply to. A pop up appears just above the area with the word "Quote". Click on the "Quote" prompt and it automatically pops your selection into a new post box below, at the end of the page you're on.

For multiple quotes:  Put the cursor where you want in the same open post, to start a new quote.  Go back to another part you want to quote (on the same page cuz it doesn't work on another page at the same time) and highlight your next selection. Repeat!

I'm not sure if I wrote it clearly enough, but give it a go and see what happens! 😊

The Next Prince episode tonight was nice. Net looks so handsome and JJ was adorable and I loved his little solo singing moment. I have to say that the sets are fantastic and the wardrobe/costume department did an incredible job for this series.

Knock Out - episode 1

22 minutes in

I love it! Do not ask me why because I have no idea. I just have a really good feeling about it.
