Random late night ramblings...barely BL related, lol

I've been working on my pfp cuz I can't sleep and my brain is too restless to watch a drama. I decided I'll challenge myself to pick 10 top fav dramas of all time and post to my pfp. I'm thinking 5 BLs and 5 straight might work and be a good representation.  It'll take some thought beyond tonight.

After that I might add a photo gallery of my top fav actors and do both BL & straight actors. It might be  more than 10 though. There's a lot of cuties & hotties to consider. It'll take time to stalk IG accounts for the perfect photos too.

Again, China is reminding me why I think they have the best writers in the BL world, whether it is movies, series, or novels. 

There is something about Chinese series, BL or straight, that makes emotions palpable and the song choices just compound the feelings of hurt and sadness.

Yup. "Blue Canvas" is painful but superb and very engaging. Glad it's working its magic on you.

Now I'm feeling slightly guilty about what I wrote (but not really). I hope I didn't sound overly cynical or snarky, especially as I'm one of this group's cheerleaders for expressing enthusiasm and a positive attitude. But I'll rationalise it as follows: It's helpful for other members to know what to expect. I can't recommend this one ... but I myself watched it to the end, and knowing in advance what to expect really helped. I was expecting lots of NC with a sprinkling of travelogue, so I can't say I was disappointed. (Of course, there's also my usual problem that NC scenes generally bore me because they're not kinky enough.)

As far as I know, MDL is still limited to titles from Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Philippines.
