The Next Prince: Uncut - episodes 1 - 4
This series is awesome! I enjoyed every second of this binge watch to catch up. My only point of contention is that I did not wait for it to finish airing, so that I could binge watch it all at once, because now I am desperate for the rest of the episodes to air.
It is clear why they took so long to finally air this series. No expense was spared it would seem; which is fitting considering the story is a royal one. The production has created quite the opulent set and architecture adding to the realism of the series. The camera work and editing is just immaculate in my humble opinion. The designers and stylists who are responsible for the wardrobe deserve commendation. I like how the ad placements are strategically done; they add some humour for me.
The chemistry is on fire! Charan and Khanin's every interaction arrests me in a way that has me holding my breath to see what will occur. The looks they share and almost kisses have me in a choke-hold. Khanin is a seducer lol he knows what he wants and no will stop him from eating Charan lol not even his evil grandfather. When he pretended to be Charan's boyfriend while they were on the run, it was so humorous to me lol that scene sent me!
Plot-wise, I am loving the story. For me the king is enemy number 1. I do not trust him. He is power hungry for his family, and a manipulator who will do whatever it takes to satisfy his own agendas.
I appreciated the acts of equality regarding Princess Ava. I actually think she would make a great ruler out of all of them. It is a shame how the rules are set because her father is a follower not a leader; he is weak in my opinion.
Prince Ramil definitely has a very painful reality. His love story with Phethai will not be easy for sure. His father Prince Rachata is an evil man; one whose downfall I look forward to.
It is very obvious that Charan and Khanin's biggest shipper is Chakri lol. I love him.
I do not trust Khanin's biological father. Something is not right about him. How is it you find out that your son is alive and your father hid this truth from you and you are just going about everything like a puppet on a string. Something is off!
Finally, some appreciation for NuNew for handling the different languages so well in episode 4.
That is all I have to say (at least all I remembered to say). I am now desperately and impatiently waiting for episode 5.
