Hey, can I ask how long you all have been in this club or when you joined? (Only if you remember, no stress!)

I think I probably joined during November or December of 2024(i dont really remember but i think it was around there) but I joined MDL on August of 2023

My MDL join date is February 22, 2023, so presumably the same - although with certain members, I feel like we've known each other even longer. (I mean that in a good way.)

I joined a month or two ago. But I started participating a lot right away.

Hmm, kinda interesting seeing when everyone joined lol

I’m really loving My Sweet Brother-in-Law. It’s a little rough around the edges, and feels too short, but the characters have completely roped me in. It seems like the main couple are already falling in love. The actors are doing a good job portraying nuanced and complicated feelings. It wasn’t as spicy this week but still satisfying story-wise. I don’t think it’s a hot mess as much as a story of the pull of love and attraction vs. expectations. While we get this push and pull a lot in Bls, it’s rare to see actual outright cheating. For me it makes it more intense and harder to tell how the story will end. But I still can’t get enough of it.

Oh yes haha

Reset ep 1

This reminds me of IFYLITA, which is ironic since I’m rewatching that right now lol

I love Armin’s long hair, it really suits him

Very much looking forward to the next ep

I joined in 2022 but tend to just lurk lol. I should post more

I finished two older drama in the last few days.

I Will Knock You: I really loved this one, not because it was great but because it was pure enjoyment for me. It was a sweet and innocent love story but with slightly different characters than your typical high school/college BL. I found both MLs really charming. This was fluff but lovely and low-stress. I just kept wanting to go back to it each night for comfort. There is only one kiss at the very end, and it is a cold fish, but I was warned before I watched it so I didn’t get frustrated. There is a bit of fighting but it wasn’t upsetting. Overall, I would definitely recommend this and I myself would watch it again. FYI: one of the leads in this has a supporting role in Reset.

Tonhon Chonlatee: I mainly watched this because I love Khaotung, and i wanted to see his first role. I had also rewatched Ai Long Nhai which includes the characters (with different actors) of Tonhon and Chonlatee. I liked those characters in Ai Long Nhai but wanted to see more of their story. Unfortunately the story is changed from Tonhon Chonlatee to Ai Long Nhai, so it doesn’t really fit together. Pod is also in Tonhon Chonlatee and I liked him too.

Tonhon Chonlatee has low ratings for a reason though. I can put up with a lot to see actors I like with good chemistry, but this show had one thing i really can’t stand, which is homophobia humor. The first half of the show is all about how homophobic Tonhon is and all kinds of crazy ways everyone is trying to hide homosexual feelings or relationships from him. I don’t find this amusing. I found it cringe. I actually put the show on hold for awhile because of it. i finally went back and found that things eventually change, but the story still wasn’t great. I didn’t find the changes in the characters well-developed or believable. Everything wraps up well-enough in the end but I stopped many times along the way. This was a hard one for me to get through. Khao’s charm was not enough to carry the show. I don’t recommend this unless you really feel a need to see how Khao got his start.

I Will Knock You: I really loved this one,

Oh, I loved that one, too!

I've not yet started on "Reset", but I'm looking forward to seeing more of BomTanawat  - and in a very different role than his cute but largely comic character in "Knock You".
