"Thai BL", a reasonably good Youtube channel, just posted a video of the 12 BLs of 2025 with the highest average MDL ratings. (The list includes currently airings as well as "ThamePo", the first three episodes of which aired in 2024. The MDL ratings are according to the video, not verified by me.)
These are (*drum roll*) ...
1. "Top Form" (8.82) - Thailand
2. "Our Youth" (8.80) - Japan
3. "See Your Love" (8.54) - Taiwan
4. "Gelboys" (8.52) - Thailand
5. "Secrets Happened on Litchi Island" (8.50) - China
6. "Perfect 10 Liners" (8.48) - Thailand (GMMTV)
7. "ThamePo" (8.42) - Thailand (GMMTV)
8. "Boys In Love" (8.40) - Thailand (GMMTV), currently airing
9. "The Ex-Morning" (8.22) - Thailand (GMMTV), currently airing
10. "Secret Relationships" (8.20) - Korea
11. "Knock Out" (8.18) - Thailand, currently airing
12. "The Next Prince" (8.10) - Thailand, currently airing
One might argue about how meaningful MDL ratings are and how they may be distorted by certain effects, and one might argue that "A" should be ranked higher than "B" (e.g. I personally would put "Next Prince" much higher) ... but what I mainly see here is that we've had a pretty darn good year so far. Except for "Ex-Morning", which I've not yet started, I have watched or am watching all of these and loved (or am loving) all of them. Hurray!
The country representation is also notable but not surprising: One "winner" each from Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China (quite amazing how "Litchi Island" came out of nowhere!), and the remaining eight from Thailand.
Anyways, we've talked quite a bit about each of these titles in this group, so nothing really new here, but the list provides a nice retrospective overview, as well as a nudge if you've overlooked any of these excellent titles.
ETA: "Your Sky" - which I adored - has an average MDL rating of 8.2 (or 8.3 for the "uncut" version), so I'm not sure why it didn't make the list.
