My Stubborn - episode 10

I am a little ashamed to say this, but I may have folded a few minutes before Jun did 😬

I tried to stay mad at Sorn but I crumbled when he brought out the lollipops.............I love candy.

I enjoyed every second of watching Sorn grovel, but that ending.......damn him! His confession at the end had my heart doing little jumps.

When he called Jun his wife I had major TharnType flashbacks. Them making out in the bathroom had me SAT! Jun's resistance was nowhere to be found because what type of resistance is, "just no tongue." lol

I am still in the dark regarding the second couple.

After that preview I am excited for episode 11 (as a BL fan I never thought I would utter those words lol)

Season of Love in Shimane - episode 6

I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised to see such an engaging script taking shape these last 3 episodes. I had dived into the series solely for the smut not expecting any depth in story as was the case in season 1. However, here we are seeing a very important situation concerning on screen couples taking place and sparking discussion. There are thoughts and opinions I plan to express regarding the whole couple culture, both as it relates to this series and in real life, but I will save that for the finale, since there are only two episodes left.

What I will say regarding P and Pan's situation specifically, is that the feeling of having the person you love so close, but still so far cannot be nice; knowing that your love is confined to moments hidden in the dark making it seem as if you are stealing what is really yours. 

Anyway, on a less serious note:

Pan - "You did it all night long." LOL I swear these two are killing me lol

I am extremely excited for the next episode after witnessing that sinful preview. Here is a screenshot of the cleaner part of said preview:

yes, when I see your post about Season of Love in Shimane  I remember that it was about ep5 and not ep3. I have caught up on all the episodes now, and you are right, their chemistry is amazing. Their scene in episode 5 is particularly beautiful. It definitely conveys how people act when in love. I love what you said about it feeling like intruding on a private scene between a real couple. I also like what you said about how it made you feel and react. I just keep thinking how much better their portrayal of attraction, love, intimacy is in this versus Kiseki Chapter 2. I don’t know what’s going on off camera but they are definitely showing us something lovely.
For anyone who decided not to watch this because of low ratings or bad reviews, I would say reconsider. I actually like the story and the characters. if you don‘t like explicit NC scenes of course don’t watch it (or be warned so you can fast forward) but after episode 1, which was boring, this has actually been an enjoyable series. It has some great chemistry, some really touching moments, and a simple but engaging plotline. The cast is also very attractive too. I actually put off watching boys in love so I could keep watching as many episodes as are out so far of this show.

im glad you appreciate our comments about intimacy. I love it when couples are able to convey feelings without words, whether through a look of love, a kiss, or through a sex scene. Language is not our only form of communication, especial when it comes to love.

As for Bangkok Boy, you are probably right about what Mr. Joe knows and I am terrified. I don’t want these characters to face any more hardship. Also I don’t want my heart ripped out while watching them.

if you like GreatInn you should try Wandee Goodday. It is the total opposite of Memoir of Rati in terms of setup, but still really good. I watched it before I knew either of the actors, and I just felt their chemistry was amazing. It is a story about a couple that starts with sex and moves to love, which isn’t for everyone, but they do a wonderful job with it. It is one of my favorite series, not because it is such an amazing story but because it gives me everything I want from a feel-good BL: lots of couple interaction, great chemistry, sex scenes, romance, just enough tension and conflict to keep things exciting, and no need to wait for gratification until the end. (Plus I love men in suits and they get dressed up at one point.) As a side note, it also includes an asexual character which is great to see represented.

My Stubborn—I agree, it was hard to stay mad at Sorn when he’s finally confessing his feelings openly after trying to deny them for so long. I don’t think I would be able to resist him either. I loved it when Jun said “if I could give him up i would have done it a long time ago“ (or something like that.) this is really the episode where our characters face their feelings.

i dont care if this show has flaws, or if the side couple storylines are lacking. I adore this show. Yes, it hooked me with fiery and explicit NC scenes, but it kept me riveted because of Jun’s and Sorn’s repressed emotions. I think Boat and Oat have done a masterful job portraying characters who are in love but have difficulty accepting their own emotions. they have shown us how what they say doesn’t match what they feel, or how they act. and Now the show has become a real romance. Yay! 

I don’t even know how the show will wrap up but I can already promise that this will be one of my favorite rewatches.

You won't regret it. It also brought me out of my dramas slump. I've not been disappointed yet. Hope this is the beginning off full length fully BL Chinese dramas

Today I am reminded how many shows I am loving right now! We are so lucky to be getting new high-quality content. Reset, The Next Prince, and My Stubborn are probably my favorites currently airing, but Knock Out and My Sweet Brother-in-Law and Revenged Love and Memoir of Rati are also great so far. I’m enjoying Bangkok Boy, Boys in Love, Ball Boy Tactics, and Season of Love in Shimane as well. its true I love BLs or I wouldn’t watch so many, but it’s exciting to get wonderful new content.

Reset episode 4

the plot is plotting! Pond and Peterpan look beautiful as usual. I love Peterpan in all his suits. they are both killing these roles too. And the chemistry is amazing! When they kissed the second time I could barely contain myself.  they are magic together. (I may be a little biased but I don’t care.) I love them!!!!! events are moving along at a rapid pace. I couldn’t believe we already got to a break up in their relationship! but despite a lot happening I am fulling invested in all of it. Pond’s face especially sells me on it all. I was practically crying when Pond said they should stop seeing each other for now. I know things are going to go wrong, but I want them to be together and serving those amazing looks at each other. also the other characters are living up to his distrust of them, just with their expressions. Well, First specifically. Bom was wonderfully evil and over-the-top. I’m enjoying seeing both of them in such different roles, as I loved them as romantic leads in their previous shows. In general this show is exciting and interesting and really pulling me in completely. But I expected nothing less, so I am happy. i look forward to more from everyone but especially PeterPond. I can’t wait for next week!

They seem to be the same. I've been watching it on Gaga, mainly because it seems to post a bit earlier.

Whenever I have a chance to watch something on Viki I do. Their subtitles are by far the best. They usually create their own with a team. I don’t know about this show specifically (I’ve been watching it on Viki) but that’s my experience in general.

Hmm, that's a very good question that I hadn't specifically thought about with "Revenged Love", but in doing a little spot-check comparison, I think I prefer the Gaga subtitles.

Although I generally like Viki as a solid platform, there's a missing feature that I use a lot and value, namely speed watching (e.g. at 2X speed). However, "Revenged Love" is so good that I don't really need speed watching in this specific instance.

So Mr. P is correct that episodes seem to release sooner on Gaga. I can find it there now but Viki is not available yet even though it says it will be available today. YouTube appears to have it already as well.

So people in the comments are say the Gaga subtitles for Revenged Love are more accurate than YouTube. I wonder how they compare to Viki. I’ve never thought about whether Viki sanitizes stuff or not. I always watched uncut versions on IQIYI as that was more important to me than better subtitles.
Because I wanted to watch episode 5 of revenged love asap I ended up watching it on YouTube. GagaOOlala kept crashing, probably because the whole world is already addicted to this show. I may check later in the week to see if I missed anything and compare subtitles between different apps. I think this show is going to be a real game changer for Chinese BLs and the BL industry.

I have never watched a show on high speed. I’m compulsive above completing everything from beginning to end, no matter the quality. Bad shows just get set aside and returned to eventually.
