We are in the same boat lol I am in search of BL to binge. I was close to choosing Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island, but I changed my mind mid-way. I normally go by feeling for these things and I just was not feeling it for this series in the moment.

I went to a doctor's appointment to get my last MRI check on my right elbow,and I'm tired. I got my wife(i know im only 15 but like I have this friend yk) to watch revenge love and we are matching pfps as chi cheng and weiwei(im weiwei) I'm excited for episode 11 and 12.

I received some excellent career news recently, so I can say I am doing good.

I hope your results are good.

Glad I am not the only one who feels this way about season 2. I am not planning to post review of the series for various reasons, the main one being I do not want to rain down my criticisms when there could be members here who want to rain down their love for it and I do not want my review to make them feel like the odd one out. Hence I am sitting this one out. I agree with both of you though.

overall i think it's alright. i like watching north and sonic finally progress. and i like getting to watch charlie and babe handle more conflict together but aside from that, i think it's just fine. i feel like a lot of stuff is just getting recycled from season 1.  i agree that there's not really a ton that actually justifies having a whole second season imo. the mama/papa talk is also a bit much for me but i kind of tune it out lol. the one thing that i do find really annoying is how no one can have an actual death in this show. when every character finds some way to "come back to life" it really dampens any emotional impact/depth in favor of trying to make viewers more comfortable i think. but regardless i've still been having a pretty good time watching just because i like the characters and the nc scenes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great show though! Yeah, I pick by my mood for the story or genre. Rn I'm feeling off and having a hard time getting into anything serious or chaotic. My brain is on vacay and my heart feels heavy after my recent loss. It's been hard to find a really light BL that gives positive warm vibes for the most part, AND that I haven't seen yet.

I know I read your post about being a snake owner, right? It was you right? I can't find it now, but I wanted to say my only experience with snakes was while hiking at Devil's Backbone and came across a rattler on the trail. I wasn't going near him so I waited for someone to come along. I didn't have to wait long. A guy found a large branch and carefully picked the snake up and tossed him to the side. He was careful not to hurt the snake, which I appreciated. Some people kill them for their skin to make bands for their cowboy hats.  😟

I've had three bear encounters over the years too, but since bears aren't gay/BL, that we know of, I won't elaborate here, lol.  That does sidetrack me into wondering if the animal kingdom also has same sex genders that pair up. Hmmm, smth I could Google sometime when I feel bored.
