Knock Out - finale
They did very well with this series. Congrats to the team of actors, writers, direct and others who were involved for pulling this off.
The finale wrapped things up beautifully like a well tied bow on a gift. I have to admit that I generally go into finales with a rating in mind. I went into this one with an 8/10 rating in mind, but by the end of this finale I changed to a 9/10. For me the only thing missing is a special 10 scene.
I have said quite a lot about this series during the course of its airing, so there is not much left for me to say. I must however, once again, commend how the writers kept the plot moving with different twists that were so well transitioned and connected that the series did not seem disjointed.
The chemistry is good from start to finish. The kisses are real and do not look uncomfortable; they look real and natural.
The NC scene in this finale is good; from the kitchen to the shower to the bedroom lol
I love the incorporation of the crossword puzzle at the end where Thun told Keen that he was not taking up the 2 year offer in Japan because he is choosing to stay with his love - Keen.
All in all it was a good series; one that I would readily recommend. 9/10
As of recently it seems as if we are being inundated with several new BL series, but the way the days are flying by it also seems that multiple series are wrapping up rather fast as well. In less than four weeks I have now completed four series - My Stubborn, Season of Love in Shimane, Knock Out, A Sketchy Job! - if memory serves me right.
Hence, for me, I feel that the rate at which they are wrapping up balances out the rate at which they are releasing. However that is me who is watching religiously while they are airing, while there are others who may fall behind due to various reasons.
