Did I witness love at first sight?!? I think I did and Doctor Jimmy has it bad. I love it!! 😍

Also love to see Junior, First and Save here. I think it's going to be a fun watch. I like the mystery element too. Just hoping there won't be any detailed medical scenes. 🤞  I held my breath for a second when Doc Jimmy had a big prying looking tool in his hand while standing over the lady in the hospital bed. I froze. haha

Secret Lover EP 1

Mr. P was totally right about the cuties! Cuties with a capitol "C", including the female childhood friend. So far I think I can watch this, but ngl there were a few uncomfortable scenes. Like the popcorn scene, but it was funny too. 

It appears to me that A-Tuo is forcing himself on Junxi. Maybe my perception will change after a few more eps. Maybe it's not accurate. Hoping for that anyways.

I haven't watched that title but I see both 1 & 2 listed here. I like choose 99% romance for all types of Chinese dramas. I love sword fights and martial arts, but if it's too violent then I have to skip over it or drop it, depending on how I feel about the rest of the drama. 

So when I watched The Untamed there were a lot of skips, lol. I remember coming here and whining that The Untamed was really a horror drama in disguise. I was shocked tbh. 😮

Nice thing about Xianxia is there's usually less content with blood & guts. Immortals don't have human bodies, so there's that. 😆 🤣 🤣

Revenged Love - episode 16

Either I am in a bad mood today or this entire situation allows for genuine irritation.

Maybe it is just me, but personally I do not have the time to do what Suo Wei is doing. This may be an unpopular opinion, while Chi Cheng's ex is being a conniving little bitch, I think Suo Wei is not helping himself by playing these passive aggressive games. Perhaps this speaks to the fact that Chi Cheng and Su Wei's relationship is built on schemes and half-truths, so now that there are issues Suo Wei is not emotionally equipped to resolve them in an up front and straightforward manner; he resorts back to backhanded strategies such has playing up a crush on Wang Shuo's brother in order to give Chi Cheng a reason to break up with him - schemes!

If I was in Suo Wei's place I would have no patience for these games and frankly it is immature. He needs to straight up go to Chi Cheng and say, "I saw you kissing Wang Shuo and despite how hurt I feel, I am giving you the chance to explain what happened." It is up to Suo Wei to believe his answer or not, but sitting here quietly steaming and scheming just allows for misunderstandings and plays right into Wang Shuo's hands - do not give him the satisfaction of participating in his sick games; especially since he is mentally unstable (it would seem). 

Regarding Chi Cheng keeping Suo Wei's mother cancer a secret, I will reserve my comments because I will likely say something very heated. I simply do not care for the promise, even if he had promised God.

Moving on, I have another unpopular opinion, I am for the alternative story of Chi Cheng and Guo Cheng Yu having romantic feelings for each other. I like the story-line lol

Regarding the NC scene or lack there of, we were robbed! Egregiously robbed!

Anyway, I hope these petty misunderstandings will be resolved soon.

in general I hate it when characters in dramas try to hide their illnesses. This is never for the best! It’s even worse when they make other people promise to hide it.

chi cheng and suo Wei clearly need better communication skills, but that doesn’t annoy me as much because every romance story has to have some source of conflict or misunderstanding. 

I will throw a party if we ever get a drama that adequately portrays kink in a relationship. so far it’s either overlapping with real violence like KinnPorsche or not shown much like revenged love  or Unforgotten night. It’s an unfair tease!


based on your assessment of the knock out special episode, I will wait to watch it. i will eventually but won’t have high expectations.

There was a massive earthquake off the coast of Russia - 8.8 magnitude.

Several countries went under tsunami warnings - Japan, Russia, USA (Hawaii and the west coast, Alaska)

The videos and images coming out of Russia show destruction - both from the earthquake and the tsunami waves. 

Stay safe just in case.

I'll be fine if it is mutual. Tuo is for sure a confidant (and hot) kind of guy, and if he's also really sincere and serious about Junxi.... I'll keep watching for now!
