What do you guys think of the recent site updates? They made a new version of the watchlist! Personally I really like the Random title option. You can choose a random title to watch from currently watching or plan to watch. Very nice.

The political heat has intensified since news broke today that the PM will be calling the election tomorrow, well today since it is past midnight. Hence I have been thoroughly distracted all evening and now I am behind on today's releases and other BL related things.

Hermoso - episode 7

Filipino series continue to bring taboos and sexually deviant things to the screen challenging what is considered safe for BL audiences.

By all means this series is following the past recent Oxin Films in being a mess. However, I must acknowledge that it is slightly better than them.

Made a custom list of titles that live rent free in my mind and only 3 BLs made the cut. It's not much of a list anyway, but I needed a place to say "free me from these titles", I need to think of something else for a while.

Do you guys have one such list, even if it's not written yet? Any series/movie you obsess over?

So, like everyone else, I watched Khemjira. I’ve watched lots of shows with these kind of storylines, so that doesn’t really bother me, but I don’t like the “zombie behavior” or the gross-out makeup. i prefer the focus on the story rather than how scary it is. I’m more of a supernatural fan than a horror fan. But so far I found it interesting to watch.
Namping is too adorable! I don’t know about the KengNamping chemistry yet but I think I’m happy just to watch Namping. FirstOne reminds me a bit of Mix although not as attractive. Overall the first episode was less scary and more engaging than I expected.
but now I’m currently watching 19 BLs. It’s a lot!

Have you seen the videos of Firstone and Mix together? 🤭

OMG I obsess over all the best BLs I’m currently watching, especially ones making news. Also recent ones like Reset that I loved and that still have traction and/or made headlines. I’ve stopped trying not to obsess because it’s not possible, but my wife/spouse is sick of hearing about all my shows at nearly every conversation. We are trying to at least watch one show of any kind together everyday. Otherwise it’s just me living in my head in the world of BLs. (with a little K-pop thrown in.)

Right now we are watching the kdrama twenty five twenty one but today we took a break to rewatch K-pop demon hunters.

i am in a book group so that should help diversify my conversation topics but this month our novel, Fake Dates and Mooncakes, was basically a BL in novel form.

i must say with the combo of hype over so many new Chinese BLs and the fears over ongoing censorship issues, I get fixated on that whole situation more than other elements of the BL world. I’m really interested in the industry in general and how it’s progressing in different countries.
