i have been thinking about what happened this week and how I feel about it. I don’t have as strong a reaction as you. If a show realistically portrays rape, especially a high quality show, I get very upset about it. But this show did not feel like a realistic representation. i guess in my mind it’s all a misunderstanding, otherwise it’s just too awful. Yes, they way the characters reacted was not serious enough. If the older brother really believed Mild was raped, he should have told his brother and also warned him a long time ago. Just beating up Knight doesn’t help. And then to bring in the other brother character without any introduction was confusing. I was worried he might be someone taking advantage of Mild’s pain and confusion. Instead he just let Mild hide. Which was fine but then Mild did forgive Knight pretty easily and without any introduction explanation.

the truth is I starting watching this show for Pak, and MonPak have been great. I actually discovered that I loved LeeArm too, though. Arm’s facial expressions captivate me. So while I dont think the show dealt with the rape storyline well, I’m not that upset. I’ve just adjusted the scenario in my head to make it ok, because I want to keep watch i g. I never expected a lot from this show other than cute couples and a little spice, and it’s delivered so I’m satisfied.

Day 20: Favourite subject in school

In high school it was English, I liked languages in general. Then I went to comp sci major in uni, so I didn't necessarily have a favorite subject. There was one course I liked where we were supposed to work with Arduino hardware. Other courses were about Linux which I liked. Recently the one about AR/VR/MR was cool too. We even had the equipment necessary for development in it.

I'm all about learning new stuff so now I'm focusing on UX/UI/web design and translation (from English to my native tongue, Romanian). I also am studying Japanese and French. Revived a few hobbies as well.

All in all, in school I did like certain subjects but they're not necessarily what I'm doing now. Although English and languages in general seem to have stuck with me over the years.

A few shorts of RL showed up in my sm feeds and the ML cp were so cute that I'm going back to watch all the cp and romantic scenes only. I got the lowdown on the best eps to watch too, lol.

ETA: I'm told after EP 9 there's hardly any snakes appearing, in case anyone else wants to know.

BL Challenge Day 20–Favorite Subject in School

i was a nerd who liked school. My favorite subjects were Social Studies, English, and Art. I majored in History in college and became a high school social studies teacher (as well as a health/sex ed teacher.) (I have two masters degrees, in education and public health. Both were really interesting.)

I also did a minor in college in Feminist and Gender Studies which I really loved.

Since I’ve been on disability for twenty years I’ve gone back to community college and taken a lot of classes in interior design and art.

i've missed a lot of these lol but this one's easy so i'll chime in for today :)

up through high school my favorite subject was usually english. i really liked to read, especially when i was younger. in college i really enjoyed my philosophy courses. i wasn't planning on it but i took so many of them i basically had to declare my minor in that subject haha

also i've been working my way though I Feel You Linger in the Air (finally) and at first i thought it might not be for me but now i'm totally understanding all the hype around it. i've got a couple episodes left so i might drop more in depth thoughts when i finish, if i have the bandwidth for it. but overall i've been really enjoying the series! defintely a bit more emotioanlly heavy than some other series but i really like how they've been handling more serious issues. it feels like a lot of care and love really went into the writing and the characters.
