Day 22: Best BL Production

I'm gonna go with ITSAY for this one but I'm not sure what "best production" means.

I thought of I Told Sunset about You as well. Those Phuket scenes are unforgettable. I also considered I Feel You Linger in the Air, but in the end chose Stay with Me.

The whole production felt special to me, esp. the use of lighting: lots of natural light, back lighting, warm light for when Su Yu and Wu Bi are in their room together, color lacking when they're separated, trans flag colors on Han Bo Kuang's dress, the rainbow-colored umbrella. I also liked the queer-coded posters on their room walls. There were so many little touches and quiet conversations that convinced me their relationship was far from a bromance.

Guys I have a serious question; please, no one take offence to this.

Am I the only one who gets a little shocked and has to remind myself about the real world, anytime a young Asian man says he is straight and/or married to a woman with children?

I think I have watched so many BLs that my mind immediately associates all Asian men with the gay community. I have to actively remind myself of the real world lol

BL Challenge Day 19: Favourite university-themed BL: Perfect 10 Liner, I Hear the Sunspot, I Told Sunset About You

BL Challenge Day 20: Favourite subject in school: It’s always been History, and still is. My high school History teacher was hands down the best teacher I’ve ever had. The way her eyes lit up when she taught us made me fall in love with the subject. Dance and languages were my second and third favorites

BL Challenge Day 21: Best costumes in a BL: The Next Prince, Shine and Memoir of Rati.

BL Challenge Day 22: Best BL Production. Production is a pretty broad term, but if we're talking about the whole creative process, from filming to post-production like editing, sound, and visual effects, I'd say The Next Prince and Shine.

Khemjira, MuTeLuv, and My Magic Prophecy are totally feeding my mystical side.

Kill to Love: I'm hooked on the series, can't wait for the weekend to binge the next four episodes.
