This looks good but intense. It’s the same studio that did My Sweet Brother-in-Law, which I loved, so I’m hopeful.

Stay By My Side After the Rain - Final

I liked it partly cuz it felt understated and calm, but maybe too calm and not enough passion. I don't think there was ANY passion, now that I think about it. Both leads were cute & likable and the story was okay. I admit to skipping over some of the convos Kanade had with the 2 female co-workers. Blah, blah, blah.

I liked that both leads had some healing with their relationships with the parents by the end.

A line by Mashiro stuck with me. "The future is just built from countless present moments."

The "wedding" arrangement was a bit odd, and ended with the dreaded fish kiss. Noooooo! 😵‍💫 💀

I might get clobbered cuz this is a fav BL from what I hear, but I couldn't watch past the first few eps. It was an easy drop at the time. I wasn't into the cast sm either. Maybe it would be different now.

Just watched today's final episode of "Stay By My Side After The Rain", one of those series that didn't do much for me at first but which quickly grew on me over the first few episodes as I got invested into the protagonists and came to appreciate their human quirks and insecurities and endearing clumsiness.
Anyways, today's finale was quite nice. I'll bump up my rating a bit.

Now on to today's two new episodes of "My Bias Is Showing". Not brilliant drama, but cute and entertaining. I like it!

I enjoyed this though the kisses was bad, but I liked the story, specially when they revealed that Mashiro has liked Kanade even during their high school days
