I was wondering how these shows felt to watch when there weren’t so many BLs available. I imagine MaxTul were even more amazing in a sea of no kisses or one at the end.

Yup, at that time when there were slim pickings for BL these series were hot lol. I must say though that MaxTul were ground breaking! They walked so many BL series could run. They definitely challenged the expectation of conservative BL scenes on screen. Hence why MaxTul are held in such high regard; they helped pave the way. Then came TharnType that further paved the way for BL intimacy, NC scenes and kisses to be expressed fully without reservation. Whatever one's feelings are regarding TharnType it cannot be denied that they further pushed down the barrier from where MaxTul left it. 

I must point out that before China's censorship they definitely did not shy away from intimacy, kisses and NC scenes in BL. Unlike Thai BLs at the time, China gave BLs proper representation in terms reality of gay relationships intimacy-wise.

i‘m going to continue my journey to watch all the best old BLs. I’m currently watching Cause You’re My Boy. 

I loved this series, I still do. I gave it a 10. The special episodes in the Our Skyy series are my favourite.

I did watch Addicted and really liked it(the Chinese one) despite the abbreviated ending.( I didn’t like the Thai version.)I will add the others to my list or make them higher priority.

i can definitely see how MaxTul and MewGulf were ground-breaking in Thailand.

it gave TleFirstOne lots of opportunities to show off their fabulous chemistry as well as decent acting skills.

I've felt very attached to Firstone and Tle ever since "DMD Friendship the Reality", but I got the feeling that their strongest bond was musical, so I wouldn't be surprised if Domundi casts them in some kind music-themed BL - or maybe their upcoming "You(r)Tuber" will have some music scenes? I don't remember any in the trailer, but Tle is holding a guitar in the cover art (below).

Since Gaga is experiencing "issues" (on Android and Windows, although supposedly not iOS), I might start on "Wicked Game" (not really my comfort zone but anything Daou/Offroad is probably good) or "Lover Merman" (interesting new theme, and trailer didn't look half bad).  

I'm not really keen on Yakuza or other gang stuff, so I'll wait on "Journey to Killing You" until I hear the feedback.

ETA: Gaga seems to be working now, yay!

ABO Desire 

I’ve been watching a along but more for Eliot (Hua Yong) than because I was keenly invested. Now that we’re nearing the end though, I feel like the story is getting exciting again and I am totally on board. Plus, leg-garters!

I just hope the second couple gets together before the last episode.
