As to episodes 5 & 6 of "Story of Bi Hyeoung": It's entertaining but confusing. I'm still not sure what to think of it. Feedback from others in the group watch?

this series delivers! im loving it. Yes, it is getting good and interesting. I can’t wait for more. Also, dibs on Fujibayashi Yasunari. He is a real beauty!

Legend of BiHyeong eps 5 & 6

the character interactions are fun to watch but honestly I have no idea where any of this story is going. Why are all these magical creatures living among humans? Do they have some goal they need to achieve? What happened to them in the past that is now affecting their behavior? This week we did get more about Gildal and Jigwi as well as Gildal and Bihyeong, but Gildal and Geumbok? What’s that about? I think we need to learn more about Geumbok and Bihyeong to understand. Aso, I just wish the story had more direction overall.

still, I’m always game to watch pretty boys flirting. But my standards, like yours Mr. P, are pretty low. lol.

i’ve been thinking about best shows of 2025 for each country and I have to say Japan is winning in the currently airing category with  punks triangle, at 25:00 in Akasaka, and Takumi-kun. Regarding year-to-date, we’ve had quite a lot of phenomenal BLs. We started the year with Our Youth and Litchi Island, Korea blew us away with Secret Relationships, and Thailand stepped up with so many great shows, including Top Form, Reset, and Shine. China entered the game and immediately captured our attention. I think Kill to Love was the best after litchi island, but revenged love really changed the game for BLs in terms of viewership. I hope China continues to find ways to bring us new stories. I hope Thailand continues to make so many high quality BLs as well as fun comfort ones, and I hope Japan continues to tear at my heart strings with their best material. Taiwan gave us Secret Lover, which if not brilliant was still lovely, and has been added to my favorites. vietnam’s best was probably my sweet brother-in-law. Unfortunately i haven’t yet tried any Filipino BLs.

what are everyone else’s favorites? Should I wait until December to ask? Maybe we can do an end-of-the-year favorites challenge in December. What do you think?

The details: I love stickers so I had to pause to get a closer look at his Day of the Dead stickers on the cover of his design notebook.  So cool. And the black bandaid is fire! Did anyone notice the funny fashion magazine title? "Vague" instead of "Vogue".  😆 🤣

I don't think Enaga Ayumu's secret is a secret unless it's smth not yet known to the viewer. But I am wondering why is he 2 diff personalities? Maybe the reason why is the secret... 

Going off topic here (no offense to smokers): 

What did I say the other day about the smoking in BLs...which reminds me, did anyone else watch this week's ep of Never Date a Capricorn (on YT)?  A whole a$$ 4 min. scene totally focused on cigarette smoke, the dirty ashtray and watching crooked eye glass guy smoking in a not at all sexy bad a$$ way.  Was it supposed to be artsy? Ugh. It's not even a very good production but that just stunk sunk this drama imo. 💀

The story of bihyung

I agree with what was said about this. It's cute, the characters are interesting, their dynamic is fun to watch. I liked the last 2 episodes better than the first ones. The story is still a bit confusing but it's fun, so I'm looking forward to seeing where it'll go.

Also maybe I missed it, but who the hell is that girl ?

I finally decided to watch the second season of To My Star . I rewatched the 1st season about two months ago, so I thought it was time to watch season 2. I'm glad I did, it was really good! I watched the movie version on Viki. 

I don't know why, but I thought it would be  a short two hours movie. Then halfway through, I realized it was four hours and a half long!  

Still I enjoyed it, I had been avoiding it because I'd heard it was sad and full of misunderstandings. But I'm really glad I gave it a try, it was worth it.
