So....I just finished watching 4Minutes (Sultrier Version). 8 episodes of just mind-messing, psychotic, sexy/sultry, red flagging characters. Like, everyone in this series is crazy. I watched it all in one day. Bible is one of my favourite BL actors now.
Now a lot of people keep raving about Khemjira , (Looking at you, ColourMePurple & hoshthegoat ). Its midnight my time right now. Let me squeeze in the first episode then to bed.
I think 4minutes is amazing but I was really confused and had to read some interpretations to understand it.

The only Thai dramas I watch are BL. Same for J-BLs, pretty much. There's been a few straight J-dramas I liked, but Japanese dramas in general are my least fav of all. I like to watch straight K & C dramas, some long ones too. It's a challenge to finish some of them. 😁

I thought this was dumb because Khem was a child. She should have cursed her husband and his first wife's rebirth cycle. But she took her anger out on a child who was scared into lying.ColourMePurple:

In episode 9, Ramphueng first cursed them with "May you all die a violent death" as she was led away. As Khem and her ghost watched her near death being whipped, she placed another curse: "I place my curse upon you all. May your line be struck with misfortune, with no sons to carry your name. If you die, may you be reborn, and I shall claim my vengeance. Should you be reborn a woman, may you suffer separation from your beloved, either from being parted, or by death, as I was parted from my son. And should you be reborn as a man, should death claim you at 21, as it now claims me."
Ramphueng shows how his ascendants and their two maids have died, she appears again and says, "All have faced their karma, except you. You're the last one. Only then will my hatred finally fade."
To me, this last line is crucial. I'm interpreting it as everyone involved and their bloodlines have met their karma. As much as Ramphueng wants them to be reborn to face her wrath again and again, she's not in charge of their reincarnation, so some of them may not have been reborn. Khem is the last one, she says. Once she kills him, she will find some semblance of peace. And maybe it will fade enough, so that she's no longer a vengeful ghost by the time Khem is reborn (if/when?).

People also for recommendations. It's useful if you have something in particular you're looking for. A general rec is hard because there are so many BLs.
Ep 2 of Head 2 Head tonight was awesome! I'm still laughing to myself long after finishing the episode. Keen & Sea are so crazy LOL, and they're just so damn good together. Sea's acting has improved tremendously since Only Boo!
The story isn't all that special with an enemies to lovers trope, one has visions of the other for no apparent causative reason, and a uni setting ...once again. But its Keen & Sea that ARE making it special.
Also, Surf just looks so damn handsome in this series. I think he's going to be ready to be a main lead in his own series very soon. He's already proven himself in a short time with only 3 series under him(this being one of them). I’m just as invested in him, even though he’s a supporting character again in this series, maybe even more so than in Keen & Sea as the mls.

Love the term gaytopia. Mind if I borrow it? I totally agree! I'm really enjoying this show too, but I'll catch episode 5 later. Some shows might not be top favorites, but I just adore them because they’re perfect for unwinding.

I used to be part of a book club that met once a month, and I ended up picking up the habit of taking notes to bring to our meetings. Waiting a whole week for just one episode is honestly so frustrating! I’m curious to hear what you thought of Rearrange and I'm the Most Beautiful Count.

Seriously? I absolutely loved this series. It's a true masterpiece. It’s so rich and full of depth, with such complex characters. Okay, maybe I’m a little biased because I love Mile and Apo, but they totally crushed it. Mile especially blew me away with his performance as Tanwa!
