I feel this so much! It's my favorite movie franchise, and the pilot was so not High & Low coded ;; it felt so off ;; I hope they fix everything for the actual show.

Yes!!! I watched the Thai trailer and not once did it feel like a High&Low remake… idk if it’s because they made it last minute or whatever, but the pilot was not it, Felt like it would’ve been better off if they’d just shown it as an action/gang series rather than a high & low remake

YES! The music was wrong (but they'll probably get a better soundtrack for the actual show), the outfits/styling need to be (idk) more ??? the fight scenes were not interesting, and if I'm being honest, some of the casting choices were confusing-- like the High & Low franchise is very in your face and flashy and while the acting is serious, the plot and characters are outlandish.

Like you said this just felt like a action/gang series, not High & Low. But I'm being super picky because I truly love this franchise. IDK how many times I've watched it.

Crossing my fingers and hoping that they'll surprise me.

Here are the shows I’m excited to watch:

-How to Survive the CEO - 1. Because it’s JoongDunk and I will watch everything JoongDunk. 3. It gives the vibe of an AU Fanfic writing and I’m eating that up!! Lol

-Gangsters and Lovers - I’m so happy for ForceBook. They’re getting freed from the lame roles universe! As much as I like FB, I never really enjoyed any of their characters, except Peaceful Property. I’m glad gmm gave something that really shows others sides of their acting.

-GunShot - Dark and Doomed Yaoi Vibes. That’s all I need haha. This looks super good, so I hope they don’t change the vibes in the final trailer

-17th Spring - Covers some heavy topics and looks super angsty, so bring it on. I’m really to cry.

-Kiss Me, Remember? - I’m so happy to see Barcode again and it a completely different vibe. Idk why I like this, but something about this pilot just feels really nice to watch.

-Write You Again - Love me some angst and the ‘falling in love with you, even if I don’t remember’ trope

I can't believe they're showing that, in the year 2025.

I do like fluffy and comedy too. I like serious ones but not with a lot violence and/or blood. I guess no SE either. I'm picky.

Yeah I didn't watch the whole Gun Shot trailer. I had split screens so I can mute one vid and turn on the other when I need or want too. 😆 I wouldn't like to see that as well.

Gmmtv lineup: what took my interest the most is -You Maniac.

i find those 2 less interesting but i might get into them plus i love the mls Gun and Joong;

while watching i did notice there is some good gl series trailers, im going to add 2 to my plan to watch list when the pages get added on mdl.

when the other bl series air i will probably check them too (and their new trailers), i always check the first ep before i decide

GMMTV 2026 Bingo/Line Up

I spent the last few hours watching all the GMMTV teasers/trailers. Right now they pretty much all look good to me, even the bromances. I will probably watch all the BLs and some of the GLs and bromances. The straight ones I might watch if I love the cast but it depends on whether I have time.

I’m so excited for all the new couples plus all our returning couples we love! It looks like some of them will get some good material to work with. i‘m especially happy AunStamp are paired in something and AouBoom have their own show. Also anything where Khao cries has my heart. There are too many couples I love to list them all, but the JoongDunk and WilliamEst ones look especially good.

I like time travel and fake relationships so there are several of each. Yay! I don’t really like amnesia but for Barcode I will watch anything. I don’t like drug use so the straight Overdose is out. I’m not keen on horror or ghosts but I will watch for EarthMix and PerthSanta. I also don’t like anything too silly, but I’ll still try to watch. So far none of it looks over the top silly, so that’s good.

this is questionable but if MondRyu are actually a couple in the show they’re in and if you count OhmPoon BL even though they’re not solo, I got a third one:

Based on Chirisu’s list, there are in fact 36 shows!

I eagerly await MDL listing all the shows because I’ll never keep track otherwise.
