2025 Dec BL Challenge- Day 4: Favorite Chinese Drama of 2025:

i love both Abo Desire and Revenged Love

RL, Abo desire, to my shore, and perhaps moon and dust.. I've watched parts of it but yeah

Only 2 episodes are out so it's hard so say for sure but this far it's promising. Great quality, good writing and plot is interesting. It's captivating, thrilling and the tension between leads is there. I've been waiting for a more mature and sensual drama for OffGun, this it exactly it. Off, Gun and Dew are all nailing it with their acting. Dialogues feel natural. Their characters are fascinating. They all look divine too especially Dew with those glasses. It feels different from other gmmtv bls which it refreshing. It has a bit of same vibe with Only Friends but more elegant/elite.

As a fellow OffGun fan, I recommend to give it a chance. Just be prepared for its serious and intense vibe rather than fluffy and cheerful.

I started episode one with no expectations and wow! what a great start. I am all for it. I am already shipping Jira and Pheem although knowing OffGun are the pairing spoils it a little for the future but I am hooked. I promised myself I would try to wait for a series to be finished before starting it but I really didn't think i would like this one so much

I'm all caught up on Me and Who, and ready for the final episode tomorrow night. Just finished ep 9, and I'm an emotional wreck. What a great episode, and what a twist too. This has been such a fantastic series. I adore Big & Park so much. Mandee has been killin it this year.

I take it you're paying for "fast track". Me? I'm patient (and a tightwad), so I'll just wait another week. But yeah, I love this series, too! Park is such a cutie-patootie.

BL Challenge Day 5: Ship you were most sad about ending in 2025

I don't get sad about ships ending, even the ones I like. Firstly, I view it as "creative destruction", i.e. the actors (if they stay in BL) may go on to a new and possibly better pairings, and secondly, even if my heart is a bit sad, my head believes in respect for the actors and their right to self-determination. To me, that comes first. If they want to move on (whether to a new pairing or to non-BL or to music or whatever else), I wholeheartedly wish them the best.

But it's still interesting to reflect on which ships ended in 2025 and what's happened since. The ones that come to mind are Mean/Ping and Jeff/Barcode (with both Ping and Barcode having moved to GMMTV), Great/Inn, Marc/Poon (which wasn't really working anyways), and of course the inter-agency mess involving Smart/Boom. What others am I missing?

ETA: It seems that the end of Ohm Pawat/Leng was officially announced in 2025, but I count that as 2024 (if it ever was even meant to be an ongoing CP).
