I actually really enjoyed Love and Leashes. It wasn't too hard core but i feel it was really honest and tried to show that bdsm is just another way people enjoy sex 

I liked love and leashes too, but I can barely remember it so I guess I’ll have to rewatch 

BL Challenge Day 18: Most overlooked drama of 2025

For "underrated" I generally refer to the average MDL rating, so for "overlooked" I guess I'll refer to the "# of Watchers" on MDL - although one could also look at critical reviews, awards, etc. (That being said, getting BL awards in Thailand is a heck of a lot easier than in China!)

Anyways, I shall once again go with my favourite low-budget indie masterpiece "Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island" (# of Watchers: 9,481), followed in second place by "Gelboys" (= 14,670).

For comparison, some other popular hits from 2025: "Revenged Love" = 47,717, "ThamePo" = 34,001, "Next Prince" = 32,913,  "Top Form" =  31,705, "Khemjira" = 31,176, "Secret Relationships" = 27,638, "Your Sky" = 24,294. (I've not looked up every 2025 BL, and I don't see any way to add this field to my watch list, so these are just a few examples that came to mind.)

ETA: On thinking more about this, everything from Vietnam gets overlooked, and it's not even on MDL. So honorable mention to "Fight For Love" from RL Studio (Youtube), which is doubtless even more overlooked. OK, it's not a dramatic masterpiece like "Litchi Island" or "Gelboys", but I loved it.

i know other people are watching this but why so quiet? I am already loving this show so much! I’m  not sure whom I’m rooting for anymore, but, man, Dew is fine! Gun also looks amazing in almost every outfit they put him in. Today he looked especially beautiful in the black and white suit. His chemistry with Off is certainly brewing. I am excited for more.

I really liked the song that played in the beginning, at minute 7, but nether Shazam nor Google know what it is. I hate having to wait for a show to end to find music from the OST.

anyone else have feelings about this show so far?

I'm loving every second of it! It's exactly for my taste more darker and mature. Everyone looks so stunning here Gun, Off, Dew, AJ and Emi. Gun looks good in everything, but today I really loved that red shirt and leather shorts outfit. 

I'm rooting for Off. His character is my favorite. I think he's misunderstood and in fact just broken. I'm very curious to know more about his past. Those night talks between OffGun gives me shivers. Great deep conversations and their chemistry is off the charts. 

Dew is extremely fine, but AJ is also looking very good here. I love his long hair! 

It's getting even more messy and I'm here for that xD

100% agree. I just finished it and the 2 hours flew by. I wanted more. The background music was perfect, not intrusive. The production was flawless IMO.

Day 18: Most overlooked drama of 2025

The Journey to Killing You has less than 11k watchers overall. So does Depth of Field. I suppose Japanese series in general have low number of watchers and thus low ratings too.
