DECEMBER BL CHALLENGE 2025
Day 27: Biggest disappointing drama in 2025 you were most looking forward to.

  1. Revamp the Undead Story
  2. The Next Prince
  3. Pit Babe Season 2
  4. Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist

those 4 bls i have been looking forward to them then got disappointed, the first trailer of revamp was good then it changed (not in a good way), the next prince i expected it to be so much better, pitbabe s2 the first season was much better even with it own flaws, sweet tooth good dentist Mark is a good actor but they picked a not good plot for him its unfortunate

Heesu in Class 2 : people are calling it "a straight washed bl series " for a good reason, plus people who read the webtoon feel even more speechless about what they got from the series

if i have to pick only one id pick revamp, i needed a good vampire bl show just like how i need a good merman  bl show 😅

Day 27: Biggest Disappointing Drama in 2025 you were most looking forward to

Without a doubt it's The Next Prince!

I waited forever for ZeeNuNew's next series together (I really liked them in Cutie Pie!) only to feel let down. They looked great but it couldn't make up for how bored I was, to the point I couldn't finish it. 🙁

Maybe it was a matter of expectations...or smth was missing for me...idk  🤷🏻‍♀️

RE: Heated Rivalry. It's book 2 of the Game Changers series by Rachel Reid. The TV show covers some of the other books as well. Book 1 is Scott and Kip's story. Books 2 and 6 cover Shane and Ilya's story.

Dec BL Challrnge Day 27–Most Disappointing BL Drama of 2025 I was most looking forward to

Interminable

i expect anything from Idol Factory to be flawed, but The Sign was flawed but also riveting, and BillyBabe were so good and interesting to watch. Interminable has me so bored. I’ve watched 6 of the 8 episodes out so far and I just am not moved by the story. It’s all over the place. The NC scene early on was beautiful in and of itself but it came out of nowhere and felt jarring, like it wasn’t earned. I will try to finish the series but i keep putting off watching it because of all its problems. with all the scandal around idol factory, I also feel uncomfortable supporting one of their shows, but i really like BillyBabe so I won’t let that stop me for now. Still, I expected a lot more from this.

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist

i really like Mark Pakin and he has range as an actor. he could have been great given the right material, but this was just awful. it did not work as a story, and got worse as it went. Ohm Thipakorn is also lovely and a good match for Mark. im so sorry for them that they were given such an awful show for their first starring roles.

Day 27: Biggest disappointing drama in 2025 you were most looking forward to.

Heesu in class 2

I haven't read the webtoon but I was looking forward to it because of the leading actor Ahn Ji Ho. It didn't met my expectations.

Me and Thee ep 7

Wow what an episode we had a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed a lot and cried more that i thought i would. I liked the fact that we get to see Peach open to Thee about his past even if he is afraid of his reaction. It was a really touching moment.

I would describe it as a romantic drama.

It makes me so happy every week I'm grateful this bl exists.

I think that Pondphuwin have really improved their acting with this project. I'm impressed.

This was a big disappointment except for the OST which is great.

Don't get me wrong other than Teh I think it's a fantastic drama.

I just think he could be less inconsiderate towards Oh and others... plus I got cheater vibes from him even from the first season and cheating is one of the tropes I hate the most.

Don’t watch I Promised You the Moon if you hate this trope.

DECEMBER BL CHALLENGE 2025

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTING DRAMA IN 2025 YOU WERE MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO

for me the biggest disappointment was The Wicked Game. i absolutely love daou and offroad so i was really looking forward to seeing them again. i had watched century of love and thought it was only decent so my expectations weren't even incredibly high. but the production quality was not the best, the writing and pacing was kind of all over the place, and i felt like most of the side characters (& their relationships) didn't really get fleshed out as much as i would've liked. there were some good moments, the whole cast ofc looked great, and i was still able to get through the show. but in the future i really hope daou and offroad can get projects that better utilize their talents.

second place goes to The Next Prince because i was so so excited about this one. i love zee and nunew and everything about this show seemed so promising. it even started out great, the production was great, the set and costumes were ofc amazing, the whole cast did a great job, and i was really interested in the story. unfortunately towards the end of the show the writing really started to fall flat for me. but i still really enjoyed a lot of the show so it wasn't nearly as disappointing as the wicked game.

Oh I already knew about it before I even started I told the sunset about you, and I've already started it... probably won't finish right now, but yeah...
