Hi and welcome to the group! 😊
If anyone's looking for a watch challenge to start your 2026, I came across this fun PTW Challenge. No time limit. It'll help reduce your PTW list. 😆
The "Side Missions" are my fav part. I picked out each drama title according to the criteria and added it to my challenge chart. I'm ready for 2026 with a specific list of dramas to watch. No decision making needed, at least not for awhile, lol.

Now watching today's first episode of "Love Alert" because (seriously) it's been a while since I've watched a Thai BL trainwreck and I have a strange craving. (Dora will understand this.)
Too soon to confirm whether it actually is a trainwreck, but it has definite trainwreck potential.

I don't think I've heard anyone here comment on the first two episodes of "Beside The Sky", the first of the three story arcs of "Fourever You Part 2" (8 x 3 = 24 episodes). Unfortunately, I'm underwhelmed so far: I like Bever and absolutely love Tonliew, and I think they'll have good chemistry together, but so far the heavy (and heavy-handed) story is just not working for me - in fact, it's rather annoying me. Fingers crossed that things pick up with episode 3.

Yes to all of this. But Tonliew is such a cutie I have to keep watching. Also of course I will watch Love Alert!

i just set up an entry for the PTW challenge and found out i have exactly 96 movies and 96 dramas on my ptw list (or at least i did, before i dropped a few just now lol). i thought for sure i'd have way more dramas than movies, i was really surprised to find the exact same amount for both

Day 23: Most improved actor or couple in 2025

Honestly, JoongDunk. After watching The Heart Killers. I watched all their previous dramas together and I have to say that I've seen a ton of improvement when I compare all their dramas together.

Day 24: Favorite Taiwanese BL OF 2025

N/A - I didn't watch any Taiwanese BLs for 2025.

Day 25: 2025 drama with the most hotties

Secret Relationships 100% (all of them were totally gorgeous)

DAY 26: Ship you wish were a real couple

Day 27: Biggest disappointing drama in 2025 you were most looking forward to.

Nothing disappointed me more than 'The Next Prince'. The disappointment I felt watching this drama after waiting for years is immeasurable.. Special mention to Takara's Treasure and Ball Boy Tactics.

Day 28: Is there a drama from this year who's story or character made you learn something new or change your perspective about something?

'Love Begins In The World Of If' made me realize how our own minds and perspectives can trick us sometimes. What we may see, think. believe, and understand as the truth might not always be the truth. Our perspectives might not match other people's thoughts, so it's always better to communicate.

Probably the Unpopular MC with the Popular ML (I've watched quite a few of those this year)

Dec BL Challenge Day 28–Favorite Trope of 2025

i really loved the dramas with rich man/poor man, especially if the rich man was overprotective and/controlling. These include Reset, Me and Thee, Fourever You (Johan/North), Revenged Love, Thundercloud Rainstorm, To My Shore, Love in the Moonlight, and My Stubborn, Boy Next World, and The Journey to Killing You (not primary trope but still fits.)these also overlap with famous man/common man, including Top Form, punks Triangle, My Bias is Showing,

I also like hurt/ healing, including My Magic Prophecy, Reset, and The Journey to Killing You.

we also had some quite good mafia/crime dramas including the heart killers, the Bangkok boy, and the Journey to killing you.

this does not include all my favorite dramas from 2025 but these seem to be the patterns of many of my favorite shows.

This is my no. 1 BL of all time so it does follow I'll mention it in challenges everywhere.

Hmm ... I'll interprete this as visual beauty.

"Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island" had strikingly beautiful cinematography for such a low-budget indie production, especially watching it in UHD on a larger screen.

DAY 30: MOST BEAUTIFUL DRAMA OF 2025

for this i have to choose Gelboys. i always gravitate towards a more indie vibe so i absolutely loved the style of this show. the sets and costuming were so vibrant and visually interesting. and i thought the cinematography was great as well

Same as Mr. P, Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island. Not only for the scenic location but the main couple's relationship was beautiful to watch as well.
