Winter Challenge 

(I have only watched about 50 2025 productions and they weren't only bls so I can't really awnser all questions)

Day 17 - Biggest surprise hit

Day 18 - Most overlooked drama

Day 19 - best quality Thai bl

Khemjira had a big budget and was really high quality. I only watched about 15 Thai bls so I don't really know many.

Day 20 - Favorite returning actor

I am not watching only one actor and I am not watching since dramas that long

Day 21 - Favorit returning ship

Don't know ships (only know bl and the most dramas since 2025)

Day 22 - Most impressive performance actor/couple

In my opinion Keng really gave an impressive performance. There were many more (almost all) good performances but Keng in Khemjira came to my mind first

Day 23 - Most improved actor/couple

Haven't really long that I know who really improved but from what I heard Pond and Phunwin really improved and some more

Day 24 - Favorite Taiwanese bl

I haven't watched any 2025 taiwanese bls

Day 25 - Dramas with the most hotties

Maybe Khemjira again but I don't really know

Day 26 - Ship I want most to be real (any year)

I know many ships but I know them not that long so I won't awnser

Day 27 - Biggest disappointing drama

Takumi kun series, somehow the story is better in the films. The series had just many bad aspects

Day 28 - Drama I learned something or changed my perspective 

Love begins in the world of If because it showed me that I sometimes see things that aren't ment in the way I interpret them and that it is sometimes good to come out of ones shell. Thai bls showed me a culture I didn't really know of. To some extent some from other Asian countries did that too but mostly Thai bls.

Day 29 - Favorite trope/theme

I love school settings (University), coming of age and healing journeys

Day 30  - Most beautiful 2025 drama

Many were beautiful but I chose School Trip: Joined a Group I’m Not Close To because it felt kind of like something I haven't really seen before in 2025. (But I saw some from 2024 and years before). I would also say Khemjira because it looks beautiful and had a great story in my opinion

Day 31 - Best gift I received 

I haven't really received many gifts but the ones I received were 5 Kpop albums from my closest colleagues and some family members

Those who already celebrated or had the new year I wish you all a happy new year and for the rest too. I hope you be as healthy as you can be and be happy and get many happy memories. If something brings negative emotions and memories or sadness in your life I hope you can be comforted and still find happiness. On a hopefully new year (with you all). Have a bearable year, even if something bad happens. Remember that the good days and times will come again, and perhaps think about the beautiful moments you have already experienced.

Less than 4 hours here before New Years. I sent an edit of Zi Yu and Tian Xu Ning (nothing explicitly gay) to my uni colleagues, on whatsapp group chat. lol no one paid attention :(

I came out to them this year, right after taking my final dissertation exam. back then they ignored me

I hate people

It's not easy finding your tribe. For 2026, may all be closer to finding all of ours.
