I started another vertical drama on IQIYI and it is once again painful to watch. Maybe there’s something about how they make these short dramas that just feels forced and stilted to me.

My Boss, My Love, My Stepbrother!

Last year I watched a bunch of vert dramas on Shortime and I didn’t feel that way, though. So it’s not all vertical dramas, maybe just IQIYI originals.

might be because it has a limited airing time, hence the story is rushed. and most probably more low-cost than a normal length one

 Da Bao:

Watched a short film from the Philippines called How to Die Young in Manila. 9/10 Symbolism on point but it's quite disturbing! I'm not necessarily recommending it, just talking about it. I'm going to watch the Singaporean short films Pure Vanila (and sequel) and Summerdaze (and sequel) now. Those I think are fluffy.

Checked it out, it's a short one but the synopsis scared me, it looks traumatizing lol

 Tiffany:
Me and Thee is finished no more Khun Thee and Lookpeach every Saturday.

I heard there will be a Peach and Me, not sure if it's a series or a special

Yes, it's exactly like that, traumatizing. But really good, too. This is why I didn't say it's a recommendation. That I'm just talking about it.

I'm just going to say first it's been 10 years since I started watching BL shows and gay romance shows it's my first time to rate it a 10/10.

Khun Thee trying to measure Peach's finger for the ring was so cute and funny
I liked the fact that the proposal was not in front of a crowd, it could have been when we think about Khun Thee but he did it with only close people to them watching (and people around the world watching the livestream 😆).
The small wedding was beautiful and liked their vows.
About adopting the kids, it was the ending most people wanted and they did it. It shows that you can be predictable without being boring.
The scene with Khun Thee firing Mok I cried I love their friendship. I'm glad we got Rome and Mok together.
Khun Thee buying GMMTV and changing the name to GMM THEEV was a genius move. The ending scenes with the actors greetings the married couple was hilarious.

It was a show full of romantic funny serious moments with a great balance.
It was the show to watch when I had a bad day when I was watching an episode my life was on standby. I was in the world of Khun Thee and Lookpeach for 1 hour smiling like an idiot and sometimes kicking my feets.
It's going to be my comfort bl to watch. I will miss all the characters. It's a relieve that we're going to have Peach and me.

Now I want to try watching different projects of Pond and Phuwin not together since I've already watch a few times their projects together.

Yes I'm so happy.

So they announce it's a special episode and the filming didn't start yet.

And I appreciate the warning =D

Ah, it's a special =D

 UrYaoiholic:

i love how they added gmmtheetv into me and thee

That really cracked me up. I loved all the cameos.

Good news for fans of "Me and Thee": Special episode announced

Woo-hoo!!

 axdxex:
Rating : 10/10 No show is perfect but I really really really enjoyed it

Me too. I was smiling or laughing the whole time I was watching. Their comedic timing was perfect. Peach was the perfect foil to Thee's outrageousness.

 Italophilia:

(re ending scene of "Me and Thee") Yes, me too.

This series really got the right balance between romance, other relationships (especially the kids), light action, and comedy that went far beyond the usual clichés of Thai slapstick. My only complaint is that the two side-couple storylines were underdeveloped and unsatisfying - but on other hand, I appreciate the tight focus on the main couple which often gets diluted in other Thai series.

Just watched a Taiwanese gay movie. It's called Light (2021). It has SA though, so be warned in case you want to watch it. For the subject matter, namely prostitution, the entire thing is filmed in an interesting, realistic way. Haunting, to say the least.

Have you guys seen the debate about adding Gagaoolala as a legitimate streaming platform on MDL? People are accusing the devs of being discriminatory. Also, it's brought to everyone's attention countries such as Vietnam and Indonesia aren't being added because of whatever flimsy reasons, too.

Personally idk what the hold up is. I thought they're not adding new countries because they're short on staff that can manage such a high volume of input from everyone adding new titles to the database constantly.

What do you guys think?

Not trying to derail the club btw, but then again, someone did bring up in one of the Gagaoolala threads that the mods might not want more BL content on the site (hence them not adding Vietnam? idk). Since it seems a lot of people come here for BL only. But it's like... het series are popular too, especially Chinese het dramas. So, what gives? :/

This is the debate thread for Gagaoolala. Rather, someone who looks official from Gaga wrote this thread and then people chimed in. No response from mods. Nada.

What do you guys think? I do believe the devs need to reply to this asap.

I read this too. I am not really sure what to think yet.

Right? We've no clue what the devs think about it. But imo an official answer must be provided. A yes/no answer with a short explanation is better than complete silence. :(
