With the newly announced contract terminations of Billy Patchanon and Babe Tanatat (below), I think we can safely declare the death of Idol Factory. It seems that all of their GL actors have likewise left.
After some really nice series over the past three years (including "My Sweetheart Jom", which I'm watching right now and loving), this is a sad loss.

I liked that this company tried to make unique dramas, even if I didn't love all of them.
The future of Idol Factory has been looking bleak for some months already.
And when they hired out their actors to "Peach Lover", a production infested with AI slop that looks to be produced cheaply and quickly - I wonder if they made the contract only after Saint left? - that made me think that Idol Factory tried to get money from wherever they could?
It'll be interesting to see where Babe and Billy will end up. With their established fan base they might find a place somewhere. I'm not so concerned about Heng, because he has a good list of previous work and might find a career with a more traditional channel as a second male lead / rival / bad guy in het lakorns. Not as a male lead, because he doesn't really match current beauty standards, unfortunately. I am a bit worried about Looknam?

Yes, he doesn't have the right look for romantic leads, especially in BLs, but he's a decent actor for the roles you mention.

I don't really know much about Nam (the fourth name on the announcement), but she seems to have a fan base, and the GL genre still seems to be on the rise. She was great as Som in "Secret Crush on You" - the cornerstone of that lovely group of friends!
Is anybody watching "Hard Nights"? I'm looking forward to watch it, after the last episode is out, now that the geo blocking issue is resolved. Thai PBS dramas are often good but not always.

Oh it's so unexpected after so many years. I can't wait it seems good. Seems like I'm going to rewatch addicted again 😁 and probably read the novels again like almost every year.
