Thanks if anyone could help me. Im curios about these type of dramas right now. Maybe I will have to ask later for some more recs. because I always forget what I wanted to write in the beginning and forget to include some things.

Double Mint was a traumatic experience for me... if i remember correctly they did have a happy ending

 blsymphony:
my apologies

Not at all. It's fun to look over the titles to remind myself of what I enjoyed, as well as a few that I still need to watch. They're all really good.

I'm not sure if I said this when I shared the list last time but I'm autistic & have ocd so I like to have an organised system as for the use of emojis included maybe the adhd has a part to play in that as I feel like those with it prefer to have a visual method whether it be through picture or emoji's 🥰

Just finished binge watching  Dare You to Death it was good! I liked JoongDunk in The Heart Killers, and they were great in this one too. I enjoyed both the romance and the investigation side, but I can’t help comparing it to Goddess Bless You from Death, and I think the balance between the two genres was handled better in that one.

I was probably more invested in the investigation side, but I pretty much guessed everything halfway through the show. I’m not sure if it was too predictable or if it’s just because I’ve watched a lot of shows. It had its pros and cons, but overall, I enjoyed it. 8/10.

What kind of percentage balance would you say Dare You to Death has between romance/investigation/other scenes?

Also, I don't think I've seen anything about an unneccessary breakup either, so that's good.

I am finishing up Wandee Goodday today and am trying to decide what to watch next. Am thinking maybe ThamePo as one and possibly a faster burn to counteract it.

 p43425:
certainly not one of the tongue-slurping-in-the-shower type.

Do you mean the smut type?

 p43425:
The episodes aren't so long, so I'd give it another episode or two before you decide.

Good point. I'll do that.

Hard to say maybe 50% investigation 40% romance 10% family. No unnecessary breakup.

ThamePo was really good. I've watched Wandee Goodday and enjoyed it did you like it ?

(re "DNA Says Love You") I was being a bit facetious there. I know you don't do smut and didn't mean that. What I was trying to say is that it's a slowly unfolding love which is part of a more complex story. "Romance" means different things to different BL watchers. There's a lot of quiet love in this story, but not the physical kind.

 Tiffany:

Ditto. While it was airing at the start of last year, I was so deeply, totally into it, counting the days until each week's new episode. Highly recommended.

That's not too bad of a balance.

I've read many good things about TP.

As for WG, I've been enjoying it! I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but I don't regret watching it.

Ohhh, I see. I like quiet love, but if I'm struggling with the story or find it boring then all the quiet love in the world isn't going to make up for it. 🤷🏻‍♀️😊 So I'll see how it goes!

I don't know how to explain it maybe balance is not the right choice of word. Sometimes a scene of romance would pop up when it's getting serious investigation wise and I felt like it was cutting a bit the story at that time.

The investigation isn't the part that I'm watching for most. So, it doesn't bother me if random bits of romance pop in and take over from time to time.
