From my experience, teen age is the time in life when one feels more and thinks less. It's also the time one tends to take everything so personally. I like how realistic the teen age portrayal is in this drama. I felt for all four boys, being a teenager is not easy at all. Some situations and behaviours reminded me of my teenage self. I loved their nails, but I can't imagine teenage boys wearing them where I live.
I know there's a second season coming up, but I've got mixed feelings about it. If we let these teenagers roam free again, there's a high chance they'll screw it all up. I want my BL happy ending to stay as such.
MuTeLuv: Love Me if You Swear
I liked it a lot. SurfJava have really got an amazing chemistry and I hope to see them more. They've got a bright future ahead of them, have they decided to continue as a BL couple.
This story was well-written, enemies to lovers plus nine temples in the background. Peer pressure was real in this one, but I'm glad Tum understood what's truly important in the end and redeemed himself. I could have not been more happy with Messi becoming the gang leader. He's the perfect choice. Now Tum and Oh are free to love each other forever.
Fan Service
It's a minidrama. Perfect to watch during a break at school or work (that's what I did). It's quite cute, even if everything happens so quickly. I liked both brothers and the romance was sweet. The stalker part was a little weird, probably because a lack of time.
Under the Moonlight
Another short one. University project. Time travel. It was nice while I watched it, but it won't stay in my memory for very long.
Cat for Cash ep 7
Ever since Leo appeared the story has become more interesting. I'm enjoying the family drama aspect of this. I love to see the character development. Interestingly enough, I'm the least into the romance part of this story.
I can't imagine leaving my cats behind. Poor things, I hope they'll be okay, because trauma in cats may last for years, I know. Lynx and Leo's father is a scum and they're better off without him. Brotherly love for the win!
Fourever You 2 ep 9
Finally! The story I've been waiting for. Maybe it's just me, but I feel slightly different vibes from the first episode compared to the first trailer. Have they changed some things? I don't know.
I love Dao, he doesn't give an f about anyone beside his family and friends. He's not bothered by ghosts or Arthit's shenanigans. I also love Arthit's stubbornness. I can't wait to see more of them and I'm very curious about Do's killer.
Only Friends 2 ep 2
So far so good. Relatively not much drama happening, but it's about to go downhill.
Jack and Dean seem to have lingering feelings towards each other and sleeping together doesn't make it any better. Dean keeps c-blocking rivals left and right. Jack bears a grudge against him. Raffy still wants to get Jack for himself, but Rome won't let go of Raffy easily (I'm not surprised. That car scene? They're wild). This is not a BL with comfort couples, but ArnoldTua had a chance to be one. That is, before Neo made an appearance. He's Jack's friend and Tua's ex and who knows whose lover. Hard times are coming.
No way Arnold got his name from Schwarzenegger! I was literally telling this to my bestie last week. It makes such a perfect sense. When I was young and Schwarzenegger was at the peak of his popularity it was pretty common to nickname the biggest person in a group 'Arnold' or 'Arnie'. We called our math teacher 'Arnold', because he was so beefy. Now Joss is the biggest one in the group and he's named Arnold. Perfection. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius.
Gawin's song might end up being my favourite OST this year.
Duang with You ep 6
It looks like the push and pull has come to an end and I'm so grateful about it. Now I can finally enjoy Duang and Qin's relationship.
I loved how protective of Qin was Duang. He was ready to smash that guy's face in, but Qin stopped him. I enjoyed that basketball match. Phupha made a nice Schwarzcharakter and James was on the team too (they're teasing us with PhuphaJames ghostship). We've got a little sneak peek of Jamie and Marvis, still nothing from Tong and Pae. ASMR of chicken from Kentucky made me hungry. The student performance was nice. That arrogant couple was good, but our boys were better. I loved how Duang supported Qin on stage. Qin is clearly traumatised. Not only has he got ex issues, but parents issues as well? Poor boy... Speaking of 'boy', has Qin got some dog owner kink or however you call it? First he called Duang 'good boy', then he dragged him by the collar to his bedroom... Next episode can't come soon enough.
I've got a bad feeling we'll only get some tiny bits of secondary couples and they'll promise to show us more in season 2, which will never happen (it's my trauma).
The Masked Hearts eps 1-2
Two timelines. I bet one of them dies in the past, so they can get their happy ending in the present.
In the present it looks like an enemies-to-lovers story, but in their past lives they were so in love. Their love is forbidden, of course, their social status is completely different and they're both men. It's quite interesting so far, I'll keep on watching.
Venus's Groom eps 1-3
This started as a typical lakorn: ML kidnaps FL to take revenge on her, but she's not the person he was looking for. He made a mistake, but he knows he's right, so he makes the innocent FL suffer. Then Stockholm syndrome hits and they fall in love. It's the same kind of story, the only difference is it's a BL. I'm not a fan of these slap&kiss lakorns, so I'm not sure if I'll like this, but the episodes are short and free on YT, so I'll probably watch it anyway.
Since poor Venus was kidnapped by hungry-for-revenge Pakin, but both twins have disappeared, I bet Saturn was kidnapped too, probably by Lokkai and his mum. I keep my fingers crossed Mavin will manage to free both twins.
Love Like a Bike ep 1
There are three brothers (so three couples), but in the first episode we've seen just two. Nabnueng is a cyclist and a psychiatrist. He hits on Sailom, I mean, he hits Sailom with his bike. Sailom suffers from haphephobia, probably caused by a past incident. We've seen just a short flashback, but I've got a feeling he might have been through something similar to Type. The other brother, Tawan, suffers from PTSD after aviation accident, so he gave up on being a pilot and now he repairs bicycles and works in his mum's café. One night he got drunk, argued with a stranger, then had sex in public with a said stranger. The stranger turns out to be a new employee at his mum's café. That sums up the first ep. Their little sister is cute and adorable. KinnPorsche boys do what they do best. Tee is always good. It's a promising start.
DMD Friendship the Third Chapter
All around me are familiar faces... I've seen Wave, North, Otto, Phupha in Duang with You, Pung in Khemjira, Copper in Dead Friend Forever, Porsche in City of Stars.
I can't believe we're at Gen 5 already! Mr P was right, this show is full of 'cutie patooties'. I enjoyed it no less than the previous seasons. North clearly didn't get the memo it's not a dating show. Why is he so good at flirting with Otto? Ryujin's the same, but with Patji. He really caught my attention this season. Copper found himself a new @$$ smacking partner, good for him. I wonder what will happen with the rest of participants. Would Porsche find a partner among older generations? Others are quite young, so they've got time, no need to hurry. Whatever their future brings, I'll cheer Gen 5 on.

Since we're on topic of TV shows - I've got a couple of questions to you:
1) I was wondering if I should watch His Man 4, because I've heard they had to reshoot some parts. Does anyone know why they had to reshoot it? And does it affect the overall quality of the show?
2) Has anyone watched Love (X)? Because here on MDL it appears to be an LGBTQ+ dating show with participants of different genders. Are the participants bisexual or are there other sexualities as well? And is this really a dating show? Because now there's a minidrama starring the participants and I am confused. Are they actors?
