i hadn't really been keeping up with them so i'm not sure if this is really out of the blue or not.
This hits me very hard - "Magic Lover" is the upcoming BL I've been most looking forward to! - and no, I didn't see it coming.
Although Domundi has had the Net/James and Jimmy/Tommy break-ups, I think that Domundi generally stands out as a stable environment in terms of both CPs and artist retention.
Jimmy and Ohmkrit are both talented actors. During "It Takes Two" (which ended with them getting matched up), they did by far the best acting skit. Ohmkrit was also one of the few to have had lead-role acting experience before joining Domundi ("Night Dream", which I liked despite a lot of weaknesses - and I remember that Ohmkrit was quite good for a novice actor).
On the other hand, Domundi has (aside from Jimmy and Ohmkrit) 11 non-paired artists (eligible bachelors) in their roster*, plus presumably also some new names in Gen 6 (so far Reeon Natpharit, maybe also Few Watcharapol ? - and I'm also speculating about Thee and Hugh). So there are a lot of opportunities for new CPs. (That being said, I sincerely doubt that Jimmy will get back together with Tommy, so that's one name we can scratch off the list.)
* For those who wish to engage in speculation and entertaining rumour-mongering, these are:

As I write this, speculation already starts spinning in my head: Although there's a six-year age gap, I feel that Porsche and Ohmkrit might have especially compatible personalities. Remember: You heard it here first!
ETA: Just to be clear, I'm totally fine with age gaps - in fact, I rather like them! But parts of BL fandom can be very judgemental.

Just like many ppl I saw saw them on the Next Prince and I think the only reason I was bit interested in Magic Lover was to see them again. Hopefully both of them will find success in the future either with a new pair or individually. Have to say aside from couple of particular actor pairings, for me the shipping aspect in especially Thai BLs isn't that big of a deal. I think as longs as the on screen chemistry works an individual actor can for me either have a stable pair or work on a show by show basis with another actor. I do get that marketing in BLs relies very heavily on the shipping aspect.

I lean a bit this way myself. I do have fav couples that I would for sure be sad about if/when they stop working together, but it's not like a couple getting a divorce, imo. They are making choices based on their careers.
However, if they are a real life couple, like Zee NuNew, for example, it would hit me more emotionally cuz it's a different level of break-up.

I actually put it on-hold, but that's prob a delay tactic before officially dropping it. I'm holding out in case others here have rave reviews by the end of the series. I'm not holding my breath though.
Ditto for Cat for Cash. On hold ✅ . I think the chem is great but totally not feeling the rest. Borrrring. Khao looks so handsome but it's not enough. I crushed on First when he played Kant in THK (and the tats!), but not so much here.
And I've got the Fourever You Part 2 series on hold until the last story releases. So I'm skipping over The Sun From Another Star and waiting for Lately, It's Winter Season. I think this season has been much better than the first, I'm just not interested in the supernatural ghost theme.
My on hold list is longer than my watch list, lol.
