People are unjustifiably critical of it even though the Japanese drama improved upon the Thai original. The story has it's flaws but that is a problem in both dramas. I feel the jdrama is quite underrated and captured my interest better than many other dramas I have seen this year.

The story is related to parallel worlds so if that is your thing, give it a shot.

Oh I really found it boring compared to the Thai original, that I really liked. Maybe the fact that it's a one to one from the initial plot. On the other end I discovered the special episode from Love in the Air: Koi no Yokan with Fort and Boss doing a small cameo, and found it fun.

i've been wondering this for awhile now lol. i kind of got of gist of what it meant but i never knew exactly what that was referencing

I'm brand new to this forum and happy I found it! I'm a big fan of BL for 2 years now, and I'm catching up right now with everything that came out prior to 2023. I'm a bit stuck at the moment with the feeling that most of the BL I watched lately had pretty much the same plot (ennemies to friends, break up at episode 7/8 or 11/12, bad mother/father/brother/best friend against ML couple...). Anyway, I though I would find some inspiration in this forum, and just by looking at the latest posts, I'm sure I'm at the right place. Talk to you soon!

there are for sure a lot of tropes and similarities that show up in bl's. sometimes i like them if they're done well, but they can get pretty repetitive

we tend to share recommendations a lot in here and many users (myself included) have lists of their favorite bl's on our profiles :)

Yes, I'm digging into all of your profiles and fav' lists right now... should keep me busy for the next weeks or so :-)

Based on your watch list I would add Absolute Zero to the list. I am a sucker for fate being a dick, but with a happy ending.
