Yes, I was so unmotivated after ep1 that there is a high chance I drop today. Even though I like BossNoeul, my fandom is too average to endure another 11 more episodes.

i started this and i'm enjoying this. unpopular opinion i know lol. another unpopular opinion, i'm enjoying this more than me and thee =D maybe because i'm more of a boss-noeul than a pond-phuwin fan

I love that we all have different opinions on dramas. It's what makes sharing our likes and dislikes so fun. If we all liked the same dramas or humor what would be the point of this (or any other) forum.

But seriously, I hate this drama so much. 🤣 I have to know though, what has been your favorite scenes? I kind of like Kluayhom (Earth) being an influencer and wondering what beef Moo Moo has with him. 🤔 They had that dance off and now, from the preview, seems like a romantic rivalry. That's the only interesting thing for me in this drama. 😅

RE: Crazy Love Moo-Moo

Oh wow, cuz DWY was so cringy I couldn't watch past ep 5 and that was pushing it. I can't do cringe like that. The second hand embarrassment was through the roof which made it very hard to enjoy it.

So I noticed DWY's NINE rating. Woahhh. No way. **sigh** I've lost what little faith I had in MDL ratings...and I'll stop here so I don't start a rant. **counting to 9 slowly** 👿

Okay, so now I might have to watch EP 1 of CLMOO-MOO asap. I've been working all day and forgot to eat so tonight is a good time for some entertainment! I'm afraid to come back here to share my thoughts about it since I'm in one of those moods, haha.

Gabster:
Just watched ep 9 of Khemjira.

That was the only ep I liked. Go figure. 😆😂

Absolutely! How to say "Hear hear! or is it Here here! Is that British slang? Sounds like a court term, lol. Or am I just confused?

Indie Art Girl:

RE: Crazy Love Moo-Moo right? I'm starting to lose track. My mind is going off to other places rn. 😺

If it is that bad, then for shame! But the rating certainly doesn't seem to reflect a "train wreck". Prob cuz it's Boss & Noeul.

Mr. P and Dora might want to watch it, if they aren't already. I'm not keeping track of who's watching or saying what about each drama. Too many details for this brain of mine, haha.

I haven't started it yet, so I can't yet say (1) if I'll designate it as a trainwreck, and (2) if so, whether I'll find it strangely fascinating or just bad.

I'll try to keep an open mind, but generally speaking (i.e. without pre-judging "CrazyLove MooMoo"), I tend to get irritated by stupid heavy-handed comedies that think they're funny when they're not (although I'll put up with a lot for the sake of cutie-patooties).

Probably because of too many people like me who will indiscriminately give ten stars to pretty much anything starring our favourite obsessions (Fluke Natouch, Namping, TeeTee, ...)

To the Far Blue OH Boy, I had to stop watching the trailer almost as soon as it started. I may will have to sit this one out. No date yet.

A lot happened within the first minute of that pilot. Besides from the mature NC scenes, I will not call them steamy because they were not in my opinion, the following statement arrested my attention:

"Because when you have money, you can do whatever the hell you want."

It made me reflect on how wealthy persons in society are able to manipulate and in some cases outright break and disrupt the systems that were created to order society, or so the systems were propagated to the ordinary man.

By me saying this do not mistake that I am alluding to any possibility of this series being of any substance where social disparities will be portrayed and explored in a meaningful and effective manner. Past experience with the actors playing the main couple tells me that by all accounts this series will be of poor quality script-wise. Their struggling chemistry propped up by the over compensating number of NC scenes is another issue by itself.

Notwithstanding all that, I do intend to watch while it is airing because it is easier to watch something of, what is expected to be, poor quality one episode at a time with one week intervals, than to suffer through a binge of it. Matter of fact you might find yourself giving it a higher rating than if you had binged it.

In need Luke Ishikawa Plowden play a lead role in a BL series!

GMMTV please hear my plea!

i enjoy fu's pickup lines. it's like thee's lakorn lines lol. and both of them are rich businessmen

i also enjoy that the chinese term for big brother is hia, same as the thai's bad word term, which moo moo uses to his advantage lol

jazme:

I've often wondered about the two opposite meanings, but I assume that to Thais they sound distinct because of the different tones (swear word has the falling tone).

would love to see a clip of how they are pronounced correctly to distinguish one from the other =D

Ahhh. Well then, an inflated drama rating due to cuties or popular MLs, but a not so great production will get one whole point taken off by me. So DWY is an 8/10. Imo that's closer to a realistic number.

This makes sense and is a good point. My problem is getting through a not very good drama in the first place. Doesn't matter if it's week by week or a binge watch. They almost always end up in the drop list and I save time for smth more fun to do.

CL MOO MOO EP 1

I'm split down the middle.

It's exciting to see Boss & Noeul again. They look fabulous. I miss them! I think if I keep watching I might enjoy the side couples and support characters too.

BUT, it's all over the place and at times confusing. The humor is not humoring at all. It's painful to watch Boss playing a caricature of a character. It feels so uncomfortable to watch I wonder what he is thinking and feeling while acting those scenes out.

WTH is the director thinking?? He's got two amazing MLs and we get THAT? 😭

Yeah I can't stand the sound effects. It's practically it's own soundtrack. Noises that are sometimes startling and out of place too. I could mute the sound and try watching it like a silent movie IF I keep going.

What to do...I'll decide another day. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm now considering (or not) wasting another 40 min on ep 3.

Just watched the episode 3 and the humor that was already bad got somehow worse. The jokes about burping and other just generally bad behavior would make a 5 year old laugh, not the audience of this show... And after two episodes of Moo being so adamantly against Fu's affection for past years, is now suddenly starting to blush and giggle to the same behavior he has been so loudly opposing to.... it just doesn't feel believable with how they have framed their dynamic.

Also not a huge fan of Fu's younger brother pursuing his classmate. His brother has really taken all the bad example's of how Fu's being pursuing Moo and using the tactics to his classmate and unsurprisingly it's not working out.

So I already wasn’t keen on watching a comedy of this type, but now I’m fully convinced this is not for me. My friend says it’s like Me and Thee humor, but I don’t buy it. Maybe one day when I have nothing to watch, I’ll try it, but I’m not convinced even BossNoeul can save it.

I just don’t really like comedies. It took forever for me to get through Ossan’s Love Thailand, and I like EarthMix more than BossNoeul.

Me and Thee somehow worked where other comedies don’t, plus PondPhuwin are my faves.

I actually want to see BossNoeul but I just don’t think I can stand to watch stupid comedy.

Ditto on all three: I'm very selective about comedies, and I couldn't even get through "Ossan Thailand", but I found that "Me and Thee" worked for me - mostly on the merits and great delivery of Pond & Phuwin, but also because the writing of the comedy had some subtlety.

I will still give "CrazyLove MooMoo" an open-minded try, but my expectations are low. Very low.

jazme:

If you listen in BLs, you'll hear that the swear word "hia" has a falling tone - but the problem (e.g. with my efforts to learn Chinese) is that I understand tones in the abstract but my brain doesn't want to register them.

Indie Art Girl:

not so great production

In defense of "Duang": While it admittedly wasn't brilliant drama, it was a nice enough feel-good production which handled some things quite well, especially as I reflected on them more.

One of the criticisms that I hear is the inadequate development of the side couple Jamie/Marvis (North/Otto), but I think that this is a deliberate and rather clever Domundi tactic for its new CPs, i.e. to throw out a teaser to build interest in anticipation of a subsequent series which will feature the new CP.

Still watching Love of Silom ep 6 I'm halfway I won't have time to finish it today.

Krit and Wayu are really different in terms of personality, power, and money. I hope Krit’s father discovers their relationship soon so this issue can be resolved quickly. But I don’t want the father to be mean to Wayu only behind Krit’s back, forcing Wayu to hide it and creating misunderstandings or the other way around, with Krit hiding the fact that his father knows. I want them to face it together.

I don’t like Pete. Sometimes I like exes in stories, but not this one. I don’t want him to mess with Krit’s head.

I'm glad we got scenes of KritWayu with Singto 😊
