Wait wait wait.... this was a beloved drama? 🤔 This drama was worse than The Wicked Games and man did that suck. So far their best drama was Love In Translation and I only started liking that drama half way though. The beginning took work to watch. 😩
8.4 here on MDM, it's pretty high, especially for a BL. But I agree with everyone, I don't understand the hype, it was kind of boring, and the story was mehhh.

below 8 (which for BL is pretty common).
I enjoyed that was rated lower than 7.5 is Don't Say No.
I also liked "Don't Say No" and would consider it somewhat underrated - not that 7.4 was so low at the time. It used to be that 7.5 was a decent average MDL rating and anything over 8 was really good, but for reasons unclear to me, we've had rating inflation more recently - as as one might say, "8 is the new 7.5." Now we're even seeing 9+ ratings (e.g. "Duang" = 9.0), which until recently were unheard of. This makes it harder to compare current BLs with those from a few years back.
P.S. When it comes to rating inflation, I'm as guilty as anyone: I give out tens like Halloween candy.

Aww, that was my favourite BL of 2024.
I think people are pretty divided about Century of Love I loved it and it's one of the BL I enjoy rewatching. It's my favourite of 2024 with Jack & Joker (but I rarely rewatch this one)

I'm currently watching the episode 5 of Flower Boy but I'm losing interest or maybe I can't concentrate on it because of the heat I don't know if I'm going to continue watching it every week or wait for all the episodes to be released.
Oh, there's another I enjoyed (10/10 for me and it's below 8 here in MDL, title is HEHE&HE though it might be considered as BL lol
