For my 200 Thai BL challenge, which should I watch next.
I voted, but just to explain:
The only one of the four I've seen is "Be Mine Superstar" (with First and Ja), which I found reasonably enjoyable despite some considerable flaws. I especially liked the Japan part late in the series.
"Check Out" and "Fahlanruk" have broadly terrible reviews.
I don't think I've ever heard "Friend Zone" mentioned in this group.

Yeah with some of these titles come at a time when BL was the side couple in the drama and the main couple was mainly M/F. I go in blind, but some titles worry me like Friend Zone.
Is there anyone else with a CWL thats in the 30s? I dont want to feel alone in my suffering. 🥺
But let's pile on the stress my adding more. 🤭 No wrong answers for this as I will be watching all of them eventually.

32 here, half of it being airing series. I never had so many before. But I'm on holidays and as a newbie in BL I still have so many series I have to catch up with, not sure when I'll be back to my normal CWL below 10 shows ;-)

Technically I can and have, one full episode counts in my book, but this is mainly a experience to watch dramas I would have never considered and some have surprisingly worked out. So I try watching at lease half. Some I've powered through all the way because I dont want too many dramas on my drop list.

I think this will be my next BL watch. Maybe even tonight. I need smth after a tough day of dropping things for no reason and a paint explosion that was hard to clean up. I wish the day would just hurry up and be over with. Waaah. 😭

Payback first ep is good, im impressed and excited to see more, this one is like sammy it has some bloody scenes. so not a light one, i find the story so interesting
yeah I'm in, as I start to be slightly fed up with all the high school/university romances. I don't mind the blood and the violence, as long as the relationship is not too toxic.

yes, right! I should have skipped ep7, it was completely disconnected from the rest of the series.
I'm waiting to binge watch it later, I will be curious to hear your thoughts I don't really see people talking about it these days, or maybe I just missed it.
Same here. I had it on my list since it aired, so I gave it a try. I like the fact that the leads are adults who already worked and gathered a bit of life experience. I'm slightly bored with all the high school / university series, where problems arise quicker than a product placement pops up in Flower Boy because the leads never thought that talking to each other may be a simple solution. I'm feeling too old for this! ;-)

I just finished episode 4 and it tells quite a lot that I actually enjoyed this for the fact that Fu was not up to his normal antics and behavior (actually behaved like a normal person for once). And yeah wow Moo way of doing 360, first we kick and scream for the guy to leave us alone, but the minute another man shows up indicating interest towards Fu we get so jealous even aliens could see it from outer space. While I am not a fan of how generally Moo has gone from cold to hot, I kind did get a good laugh for what he did to Kluayhom at the end of the episode.

Same here, seing Fu not behaving like an horrible stalker was actually nice. I also had the impression that they slightly reduced the sound effects, so while I thought about putting it on mute the first 10 min, it was pretty bearable afterwards.
I didn't like Kluayhom in the previous episodes but this time he was perfect, and the party at the end of the ep was just pure laugh.

ok then for Fahlanruk you can stop latest by ep8, nothing happens after. Dropping after ep2 is your best option, though.

I'm glad you liked it. I enjoyed it as well. I don't necessarily judge a show merely on NC scenes, so this was enjoyable for me even though it was lacking in that department.
same, it's more on the plot, the storytelling, and actor's acting for me

I got sidetracked with a sudden idea for an art project and worked on that until late. So not yet, lol. I haven't done much to get ready to travel and my place looks like a bomb went off. I have until tomorrow. Yikes!
I'll attempt to watch an ep tonight. I've seen EP 1 and then put it on hold, but I can't remember why.
